The new delivery driver Sonny is friendly polite and helpful He offered to bring my crates into the house which was not possible due to the risk of my Kittens escaping However his pleasant attitude was refreshing An asset to Waitrose

Outstanding Customer Care

I was in a queue at I believe Till No 6 The elderly lady in front of me was being served by the cashier Jane It became apparent that Jane pretty much had to pick pack and load the trolley for the customer and my dash to the supermarket ended up with a bit of a wait This wait was not about me - but about the heart warming care and kind attention Jane looked after her customer Jane dealt with this lady in such a sincere and thoughtful manner a quality one might expect from an experienced nurse My wait was actually a real pleasure to witness this act of true kindness

Great for weekly supermarket shopping

I don t have a Waitrose branch where I live I usually order weekly bi-weekly The food quality is good although it is a bit pricier than competitors Delivery drivers are really nice They inform you about substitutions even though it is stated in the delivery confirmation email

I was shooting with Vanity Fair and my card wasn t processing the usual way Jassim approached and it was like he was on the shoot with me He was completely calm committed and resolution focused I have NEVER experienced an attitude like this and I literally thanked my lucky stars - he completely saved the day he truly did WAITROSE As someone who hired customercentric roles this hire doesn t sit within the usual budget restraints He will drive your business - Get him involved in projects which develop and retain him Sometimes one hires a star and when you get this lucky get them in the right place or create a right place for the them

Waitrose has had an identity crisis in recent years with a puzzling focus on woke themes like a person s sexual orientation climate politics etc etc yawn But the fundamental business as reflected by the shop staff remains excellent Staff are most often polite professional helpful and friendly The chain retains an atmosphere and choice of products that distinguishes it from competitors We actually enjoy grocery shopping when we go to Waitrose

Staff who care about the customer

After having a broken arm in plaster for 6 weeks the help from all the staff in the Ely store assisting me by cheerfully carrying my heavy basket around the store to the tills and offering to pack everything for me to get home was truly appreciated This was every week not a 1 off shopping visit Exceptional service and all the staff look like they love their jobs Priceless

Of the many meal deals we have had over the years the 12 00 three-course has to be the best yet Truffle Chicken Kyiv with Dauphinoise potatoes and Sicilian Lemon Tart is simply delicious and a generously portioned meal for two Quality and service this good is a real pleasure
