Great experience on the website but

Great experience on the website but after the sale contact was poor and didn t know what was happening for a few days and I had to contact them back to get a update on my delivery Also someone emailed me to say the watch I had purchased was sold and I could no longer get it but it was sold to myself and they had mixed it up quite worrying when you have paid your money and no contact from or confirmation

Bought the watch and was not happy with

Bought the watch and was not happy with the bracelet and the expansion clasps and was not the right size as requested when placed the order had to return to shop which was 85m round trip to get the link fitted but was sent to the same store when I requested it to go to lakeside as it was closer Left it with you and nearly two week later I still haven t heard back to see what the problem was with it even though I paid 10k for a watch nearly a month ago that I still don t have

Not As Good As Usual

Firstly I ve dealt with WatchFinder many times in the past never had an issue and have left appropriate feedback so only fair I do the same with a less successful purchase The actual purchase part exchange was fine the problem followed that with communication and the shipping of the new watch Having emailed the day after payment to request the dispatch was either delayed or sent to my office address as I was away from home I received no acknowledgment until I had the email telling me the watch had been dispatched to me - unfortunately I was 500 miles away from home I emailed again I was called on the 10th and told the only option was to reschedule the delivery with the courier Meaning it would be sat in the couriers warehouse for a week Thankfully it has arrived this morning and is all present and seems to be working fine But the stress and hassle could ve been avoided if my emails had been dealt with Overall a disappointing experience but I have a watch that I ve wanted for years so happy for that

Their consignment option is a waste of time

I found their buying consignment process to be a complete and utter waste of my time which is mainly due to very poor communication from the start I recently asked if they would be interested in purchasing my watch but for whatever reason they didn t want to - which I had absolutely no problem with as it s completely their choice They instead offer me the chance to sell it via consignment even though they take a pretty hefty 15 to do this I decided to go ahead as they always seem busy in their store and I thought they would have a good chance of selling it for me and it s safer than selling it privately I did this all online and it says that you can drop off the watch and they advise that they will send the watch away to be looked over and should work be needed they would advise me of any cost and get my agreement before actioning the work Instead I get an email saying they re returning my watch as it turns out it needs a new crown I was confused by this as its sold to you as being part of their process to get the watch ready for sale so I double checked they hadn t got confused in thinking they were buying it and reconfirmed that I m happy to pay for the work that is required but they simply requested refused and asked for the address to return it to If they had simply advised me from the start that they would not take on ANY work then I could have had it serviced ahead of bringing it to them and saved myself a whole lot of time but instead I end spending an afternoon in Bluewater dropping it to them and going through completely unnecessary steps I have provided this feedback to them and they didn t even have the courtesy to acknowledge respond back to me which says a great deal about how they feel about the customer - if they had I probably wouldn t have even bothered putting this post up There was a single reason I haven t given them one star and that was due to the guy I dealt with in Bluewater who was fantastic

After sales experience was not good

The buying process was a pleasure the sales team was very helpful and the transaction was smooth but a week after I purchased my Panerai I had to return it back for a repair All disappointment followed they not only sold me not properly maintained watch but kept it for more than 3 months with very few updates from their side mostly after a push from me Finally I receive my watch without any repair report without no information and no replies to my email I had to contact Panerai directly and understood that my watch was pending and ready for over a month and still I wouldn t even have it returned unless again I push for it I believe that the aftersales process is also a major part of the whole experience and in WF s case there is a failing in this part

Would I Recommend

Very disappointed with lack of communication purchased watch via website one email saying that I would be contacted regarding delivery No contact after 24 hours I called you guys and was told somebody would contact me by lunch time Nobody contacted me called the next day and was told don t know why I was told that because the Leeds branch is closed on Thursdays Chap called Ed was helpful and assured me that he would arrange delivery which he did and I received the watch on the Saturday via DHL Next disappointment I measured my wrist and put the measurement on my order before submitting I have small wrists Watch arrived and guess what no links had been removed watch strap was far to big Called you guys and I now have to take my watch to Bluewater at the weekend for the adjustment to be made The level of service received lacks the quality of the watch I purchased I work in retail and the question is would I recommend Definitely not regarding the on line experience hopfully in person will be better when I have the strap adjusted

Missing watch papers

Have purchase a few watches from Watchfinder previously without issue however this time one of the watches was sent out with missing papers have now spoken to different members of staff both promised return calls confirmation emails of resolution and also emailed via the online enquiry form 2 weeks later still no courtesy of a response Watchfinder have no problems taking your money but after sales issues are a joke

Look everywhere else If you are selling a decent watch

Poor customer service Messing me around with the sale for more than three weeks Never called back as promised Finally I was given the lowest possible price for a watch in pristine condition After my call to find out the reason for that I have been put on hold for another week as they had no explanation for that but obviously was trying their luck as street traders normally do and just after that I was given the promised price for my watch

It could have been worse could be 1

Ordered watch got one automated email to say payment had been taken Messaged after a couple of days 24hr delay on after sales to confirm Messaged again Friday and got an automated email to say shipping - just never felt like the quality of information or speed of response that a purchase like this should have Watch arrived on Monday and didn t work Despite all the checks etc etcEmailed - no response Called and left a message - no responseWent to the store in London they took the watch back and from there was quite smooth probably an email a day and 5 or so to get the money back without chasing

Didn t have a great experience

Didn t have a great experience to be honest Once the order was placed I missed a call from Tim I tried to call back over 6 times but there was no answer The delivery was not made within the expected lead time The delivery itself was left outside the front door without a signature and so we had to leave a wedding to take it inside the house We have wrist measurements which were not altered One needed 3 links out and one 2 links added All in all a completely underwhelming experience
