Really poor after getting our money

Really poor after getting our money Started ok if a little slapdash but then really disappointing Where do I start didn t keep us up to date didn t return calls They didn t communicate with each other meaning we turned up to speak to people who wernt even in one person was saying one thing another was saying another They didnt turn up to measure for damp when they said they would and couldn t get hold of anyone which i had to take a day off work for We did not buy carpets it was luxury vinyl flooring We booked in specific dates so that we could be in our new build home before Xmas 2017 Everything had finally been arranged and they started asking if we could change fitter so we got the best men for the job When I asked why we were basically told the normal fitter they use isn t as good and we wouldn t have a perfect job They didnt trust him to do such a large area as it would have to be really neat What kind of company thinks that or says that to customers When we finally agreed to the new fitters the date changed again meaning we had to change the date that our carpets From another company would be fitted The fitter was actually a really nice lad but he walked off site as his boss had a fall out with Welch carpets and they said they wouldn t finish any job or work with Welch mill again When we spoke to welch mill they said they d get it finished before Xmas by the fitter that they had told us wasn t any good We had to beg the fitters to come back ourselves and managed to get the job completed Whilst fitter were on site they also did the damp check previously mentioned and we got told that the damp levels were actually too high and that we should have had a waterproof sealant put down 1st Nothing was simple and were lied to in several occasions I will never use this company ever again

1st time using Welch Mill and now wonder why we haven t used them before Mick - the salesman- was both helpful and patient helping us to pick the right colour size and price among 100 s of carpets The 2 carpet fitters were polite efficient and professional All in all the service from start to finish was excellent

Welch Mill Carpets have been brilliant from start to finish The friendly welcoming staff in store answered all our questions and having chose a quality carpet from the array of great choices made the experience easy and enjoyable The fitter came on time we re very friendly and have done a superb job of fitting our carpet It looks great and didn t cost the earth We love it and will definitely be going back to them in future

First class service from Carl who did the measuring Mick who helped in the warehouse- pointing out the carpets best for me - removed the old carpets - arranged fitting to fit in with the decorators Steve did a perfect job with the fitting
