Questionable product overall

isn t it always the way you leave a great review for a company then something goes wrong and you learn how much they really don t give a toss about you or your circumstances I ve left my original review below to show how much I d valued WetWallsWorks Their online manager even thanked me for it Then my joiner realised that we needed another pack of ceiling boards my fault entirely and this is now day 4 since their promise of delivery You know that thing when people suddenly go AWOL after they ve promised a call back repeatedly leaving you chasing them Phones run out of juice and drivers can t be contacted after they ve left the depot but yes we re sure he will be there by 9pm as promised despite Scotland playing a vital world cup qualifier That Had the online manager been honest I could have bought elsewhere before the guys started the ceiling and bought elsewhere locally on the same day but they weren t and I now have a 2 3rds finished bathroom ceiling where nothing can be siliconed or therefore used until they deliver - after the Jubilee weekend - and after my joiner has moved on to another job not only meaning extra cost as well as the difficulty of a disabled person being left without the accessible shower they need Their disinterest or inability to solve this or even inform me of 1 Why my order was not delivered2 Where my order is now3 When it will be deliveredhas been beyond astounding I ve spent well over 3000 with WetWallWorks in the last year and really valued both products and service but this week their communication and lack of care has been appalling and their service has let me down badly as a disabled person Then the petty childish antics of an online manager first refuses to escalate my complaint claiming he is the manager and instead cancels and refunds your order leaving me completely without the means to complete the job I have gone from a valued repeat customer and advocate of this business who has spent over 3000 in the last year to one who is utterly disgusted in less than four days That s some going Rupert Well done Your customer service skills have reached a new low in my life experience Original review This is the 2nd time I ve used Wet Wall Works during a bathroom shower room renovation at my home and I can t praise their staff or service highly enough The first time I ordered and took delivery in advance being the control freak type and planned it to the n th degree I was still anxious as there were complexities to the order and it was a lot of money for me I needn t have been From ordering to delivery they were spot on even ensuring the boards were laid somewhere that wouldn t affect my wheelchair should I need it The 2nd time our en-suite was even more complex The main contractor suggested I get the order delivered after we left for holiday and just as the job started so I discussed this with the guys in Greenock who were brilliant assuring me of a day of delivery I had three different orders after adding to the work and was freakishly nervous that something would be missing What if they didn t turn up etc We had a tight timeframe and the knock on effect from this room was huge They were brilliant Again they delivered every single item 19 pieces of 5 different products in total exactly when they said they would Our joiner and main contractor usually deals with a company in Edinburgh who make a similar product even asked for their details for future work He said he s never had service like this I wouldn t hesitate to recommend Wet Wall Works to anyone They went above and beyond to reassure me understood my complex needs and did everything they committed to in perfect timing including free named day delivery I m hoping I don t have to do a bathroom for a while but if we decide to move I will be back and I d recommend them to anyone looking for wet walls

So very disappointed with this company I found some bathroom flooring and my fitter ordered it Was informed it would be delivered in a few days The date for delivery came and went Fitter called the and they said a few more days then it changed to following week Fitter tried to cancel but WWW said he could not do that Then another call same saying it had never been ordered as it was out of stock They did promise to refund immediately but as I was about to order some wall boards I changed my mind so the company lost quite a bit of money They show good products but don t seem to know what is in stock or not I quickly found other products Would never buy from them again Value Flooring just in case WWW say they have no record of order No I will not amend my initial review You took the money for out of stock goods and then made out it was going to be delivered If it had been delivered it would have been ten working days I have read all the texts from WWW that my fitter had so I know it is true Good job I looked on TP The reviews for shower panels are dreadful Thankful I did not order from you As always complaints handled well gives customers a chance to think again about buying Certainly would never buy from this company calling a customer a liar does you no favours

I brought two marine ply wall panels and trims for a shower cubicle the service was good and they answered all emails promptly We questioned which trims to use to sit the panels on we were told they should be panseal trims but the website wasn t set up for this so could only order the cladseal ones and they would swap them for the right ones So we ordered and all items were sent in good time except we received the cladseal trims which we questioned We were told both trims functioned in the same way so the ones they sent were fine So after some months of the panels being fitted they are starting to swell up at the bottom of the panels After investigating the trims it turns out the cladseal trim is ment for pvc panels and the panseal one is for marine ply panels I contacted wetwallwork about this and initially they were looking in to this But after a lot of emails I was told the director was going to deal with my complaint And that s as far as it went they don t answer emails anymore and I never heard from the director Really poor customer service

I went to the Greenock store on sat 28 11 20 and was dealt with what appeared to be a friendly guy I gave him my measurements and told him I was looking for 8mm white gloss ceiling panels i was given poor quality 5mm and overcharged at that I was charged 190 for 24 panels 6 plain edging trims and 2 joints For that price it should definitely been 8mm Gutted I have let myself get ripped off with money I can ill afford to lose They offer to take product back but don t mention the 20 restock fee Dick Turpin wore a mask

We wasted a lot of money on two bathrooms with wet wall panels from here They looked amazing for about 18 months but are now all peeling - every single panel No harsh chemicals and one bathroom barely used Looks horrific Called the shop who said nothing to do with them or the product and must have been me Offered a discount which was pennies in comparison to labour cost to have it done again Very angry with this shop - total con

Panels that I was given started to peel just after the years warranty was out Now the customer service was great I was given new panels to replace the ones peeling even though I was out the time period however those new panels are now peeling and all the rest have started So the labour costs and the delivery costs have just cost me with nothing to really show for it other than a really awful looking bathroom

Went into the Hillington shop recently but was more of a building site than a showroom Had to avoid builders and workmen building a second floor onto the small shop Was a hassle especially when my wife and I had to bring our baby with us If this wasn t bad enough the selection in store was small compared to others in the area and then when we mentioned we would looked at a couple of other companies before potentially coming back - floor staff started to bad mouth them Claiming their products were rubbish That they had a poor service etc I m sorry but that put me off using your company at all Bad mouthing the competition isn t a sales technique it is poor business and one that does Wet Wall Works no favour at all You should train your staff to promote the benefits of your product rather than slagging off the competition as some last ditch attempt to win custom

Poor service One man delivery who left 4 wall panels out in the rain Took 2 of us to carry each panel as so heavy so unsurprisingly when we went to use the panels they were damaged Also had an end trim missing As I didn t notify within their 24 hours I don t get what I paid for Avoid

Visited the Hillington store several days ago looking for panels to revamp two of my bathrooms One of the staff on duty was outside on a deck chair sunning himself and totally ignored myself and my wife going into the shop The other staff member sitting behind the desk looked as if he was trying to hide so he didn t need to deal with us - neither couldn t be bothered to even say a hello how can we help Spent a few minutes walking around the shop and realised that there was another level to it - sadly not a huge range on show due to it being only a concept store In reality we wasted our time going into this shop Went into another panel company two doors down and saw a wider range of products on display and other products available to buy via suppliers on custom order also Haven t bought the panels yet but know who I will be going to order from and it s not Wet Wall Works
