Miscommunication within the Auction House

A problem with IT meant that my whisky arrived UNANNOUNCED The auction site have apologised for this oversight

I am happy with the auction

I am happy with the auction House but disappointed When one of my purchases Had a damaged box that was Not in the picture Only when the bottle was Pack for delivery burst the box contacted the W A Said what happened Not a good response Not happy

Good site but commission still too high

Selling commission rates still high Other auctions are 0 and 5 commission which is much more attractive Good range of collectables though

The service is great

The service is great I bought a few old bottles of liqueurs and one had some muck on the bottom of the bottle which tbh is expected as it was 50 years old however they seem to have made sure you couldn t see it in the pictures of the bottle on their website

Pay your money and take you chances- Great fun but watch out for fakes Last auction picked up 2x Ballantine s gold seal 1 L bottles of which one was a dud - foul tasting liquid containing no alcohol

You have to change delivery company

You have to change delivery company immediately None auction page use that company anymore Is a very serious reason for not bidding in your actions Your guys helps me a lot with my delivery and they answer to my email immediately

Auction first

Have tried this several times and this was the first successful bid Ok experience and in fairness the after auction delivery service was as it said it would be and good disappointed with the product- bottle in a poor condition- not as in the picture and half empty with stains that suggest it has leaked but not recently or whilst in transit So will be reluctant to venture back into the auction arena

Extension of auction end pointAs the auction ended a last minute bid

As the auction ended and a last minute bid was made the auction was extended past the closure time I feel that this is unfair and designed to increase the price For that reason I will not be bidding again on this site Addition the three minute extension period is sharp practice and takes the edge of competitive bidding

Lacks clarity with regards to auction

Lacks clarity with regards to auction fees and VAT Some lots state VAT Applicable which is misleading If you live in the UK VAT is applicable for all auction items plus auction fees resulting in a final bill far greater than expected

Could do better

Well packaged bottles quick delivery Problem with some older bottles where the cork has perished to be fair do not know how this could be checked but when you purchase bottles you expect better
