AI Review Summary Based on 47 reviews

Customer experiences at Williamsliverpoolbmw are sharply divided, with many praising excellent sales interactions and others reporting severe after-sales and service failures. Positive reviews frequently highlight a non-pushy, helpful, and professional sales team that provides good communication and a stress-free purchasing process. Several customers commend specific staff members for going above and beyond, offering personalised service and thoughtful touches like gifts on collection. The sales process is often described as efficient, with staff showing great product knowledge and accommodating customer needs. However, a significant number of negative reviews cite profoundly poor after-sales service, including unresolved mechanical issues, incorrect diagnoses, and cars returned in worse condition. Major complaints involve misleading advertising, such as cars inaccurately described or poorly prepared, and a complete lack of post-purchase communication from the dealership. The service department is heavily criticised for exorbitant pricing, very long repair queues, and a failure to address reported problems, sometimes even damaging vehicles during routine work. The returns and deposit process is also problematic, with reports of deposits not being refunded promptly and cars being advertised but not actually available for sale. Overall, while the initial sales experience can be outstanding, the dealership's reputation is severely damaged by consistent failures in service, honesty, and accountability after the sale is complete.

Drove over 120 miles to buy an Approved

Drove over 120 miles to buy an Approved Used BMW X5 and it was the worst prepared car I have seen from an approved BMW dealer Although they have had the car in stock since May 2023 they hadn t even bothered to repair a large scuff from the back bumper or minor marks in the paint work Awaiting deposit back

Repairs take months

Our mini has a fault due to the EGR recall and it s going to take them months to repair There are no courtesy cars available so due to the length of the repair queue currently we re unlikely to have a car for nearly 2 5 months Williams think this is acceptable We would never buy another mini and certainly wouldn t recommend this dealer

Terrible service No wonder why they have low rate here

Had my service 8 weeks ago They identified that one of the tyres need replacement I asked to do it on the same day but they mentioned they had no stock and that they ll order it I agreed Booked another appointment and they confirmed they ll do it Went for the second appointment sat there for AN HOUR only for a gentleman to come and tell me that they don t have my tyre I m a doctor so honestly going there uselessly to spend my time in Williams for my service not to be done is very disappointing Only thing they offered is to order my tyre and book another appointment THIRD one Could have done it anywhere else but they wasted my time Not the first bad experience with them but I ve always been trying to find excuses but I m honestly fed up My next car will 100 be another make other than BMW and Mini so that I don t have to deal with them again

There is a reason they are so poorly rated

Found a car on autotrader as Williams BMW approved used reserved it with 100 deposit Was then asked for 500 deposit Expecting the car to be in on 24th June chased twice that day to be told the car wasn t theirs to sell and they would offer the deposit back in 3-5 working days The car was placed as an Autotrader ad we were told it was coming in as part-ex and would be in on delivery day of new car Really really poor communication selling tactics and experience with Williams Liverpool and not my first bad experience with them

For gods sake go elsewhere if you can

I can not begin to know where to start but the lack of customer care with bmw service recently has been nothing but shoddy My car had to go back 4 times and the issue was never fixed wrong diagnosis Sent home with my car with bits missing off it the staff really do not seem to care it s been woeful the best thing I done was remove it from their care and take it elsewhere Came back with much better service cheaper genuine parts labour costs and my car actually put back together properly

Williams Liverpool Misleading Pricing and Disappointing Experience

I ve bought several BMWs from the Williams Group in the past so I expected a high level of professionalism and honesty Unfortunately my recent experience with Williams Liverpool has left me extremely disappointed I originally sent a family member a link to a BMW 5 Series they had listed for sale When they enquired the dealership said they would send a video demo but shortly after they claimed the car had already been sold However just a day later the exact same car reappeared on their website with well over a 3 000 price increase This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic where a car is advertised at a lower price to generate interest then falsely claimed as sold before being relisted at a higher price Whether intentional or not this is misleading and raises serious concerns about transparency I ve always trusted Williams in the past but after this experience I ll be thinking twice before dealing with them again If you re considering buying from Williams Liverpool be cautious of sudden price hikes and questionable sales practices
