As a small business we do not need a full time HR expert but it s always good to have one on hand We have recently updated all of our P P s with Emma s help and she has provided HR support as and when needed She is always there on the end of a teams call We love working with her and appreciate her expertise in all things HR

I found the Leadership Coaching provided by Emma Shanahan at Work in Progress to be invaluable She is unbelievably supportive and approachable and through her relaxed and easy style I was able to hold up the metaphorical mirror and see what I have always known was there She empowered me to see my own value and the confidence to take the steps I needed to to progress professionally

I had weekly leadership coaching with Emma as I transitioned into a new management position and found it totally invaluable It was brilliant to have someone external from my company to be completely open and honest with and get professional development advice without fear of judgement I feel very grateful that my organisation agreed to work with Emma and the impact it s had on me and my career - would recommend to anyone

I have had coaching sessions with Emma for almost a year now and she has been amazing I first saw her whilst transitioning into a new job and immediately felt very supported and encouraged by her She has equipped me with useful tools to use in my current role which I know I will use for a very long time and adopt in any future roles I am comfortable in my job currently but I still see Emma for coaching as I really value being able to speak to her openly and receive her feedback in regard to my professional development Emma s approachable and adaptable approach is a perfect combination to her knowledge and experience - I could not recommend her enough

Emma helped me through a really challenging time as an employer a role redundancy She made the process empathetic and explained everything so clearly and succinctly with compassion for the employee and took the lead so that me as the employer didn t worry about saying the wrong thing A dreaded process was actually made comfortable objective and supportive for both emploee and business owner Thank you Emma
