Very displeased at the customer service
Very displeased at the customer service provided I called in to have a designated pick up person and manager instantly turned down any option If I am the person who placed the order I can have anyone else pick up if I m calling in with permission My husband should be able to pick up my order no questions asked

False advertising
Doesn t describe their products appropriately and false advertises Sold me a 11x14 frame which was really 13x16 That s my fault of course per company causing a forfeit of the coupon I used Company doesn t stand by their products or provide good customer service All I asked for was my coupon back since THEY false advertised their product I bought Basically got a sorry for your luck someone needs to provide a tape measurer to this company

Can t Refund Time
Really I was out and about today a rare occasion during a global pandemic I thought I should stop at World Market so they don t go out of business When I arrived it was six minutes until 11 a m Another customer arrived He and I both consulted our phones then watched a worker look directly at us and walk away Really Six minutes more important to your corporate policy than opening the door to TWO customers saying Hey folks Come on in I walked away with my hundreds of dollars Want to keep brick and mortar Remind your workers your customers are PEOPLE

They are the worst The worse customer service and online shopping experience Some reviewer called this company a thief that was exactly correct My online order got misplaced and shipped to a wrong address When I call customer service she asked me to wait 5 days then go file a police report Is that a joke Who file a police report for a missing shipment What in the world is happening with this company Never ever shop their online store You have warned From a pissed customer

I bought my items 9 days ago and still have received nothing
I bought my items 9 days ago and still haven t received shipping confirmation which I know means it hasn t been processed or shipped yet I understand that there s a shipping delay and I m fine with that but there s no way to get in touch with them to even find out what s going on I m looking on their website and I don t see Live Chat offered anywhere even though they emailed me saying they offer that Am I missing something Also I ve been on hold for well over 45 minutes three times now and still haven t gotten through to them yet they stated in their email that they ve tripled call capacity at our customer service center In addition they may have added new shipping partners to expedite orders but this can t possibly be true Such false advertising

More to come Cost Plus World Market Needs to Go Away
I ll explain later But this location has always lacked in customer service This maybe why customers stay away from this location The inventory seems to never match what the website list Then when a customer needs help the representative of Cost Plus World Market needs help too The sales run by the store have proven that what the store has on sale and what is actually on sale are not congruent With this explained I do not know why anyone would want to shop at this location

Online shopping that does not work Do not recommend
I ordered Hungarian paprika online to pick it up at Stevens Creek San Jose store According to their web site it is available in stock 5 cans actually I got the order confirmation Called them two days later and was told that they don t have the spice I ordered in stock but they have not emailed me a cancellation order and apparently have not even tried to call another store there are a few of them in the area They are trying to promote online shopping but don t keep they web site in sync with the inventory Very bad experience overall

I ve had such a terrible experience
I ve had such a terrible experience ordering from the website My order is 13 days late and counting It still hasn t arrived Customer service has been giving me the runaround for over a week now One person says it s on back order so I try to cancel then another person says it s in the warehouse being processed When I asked for an ETA then I m told it s still on backorder I call yesterday to cancel again and now today I m getting shipping notifications

Do not order anything from these
Do not order anything from these people They re incompetent Moved into a new home Had no full place settings And the holidays were fast approaching With friends and family invited for Christmas dinner a set of seven place servings was ordered When the box arrived - later then paid for - the only item in it were salad plates No dinner plates and no bowls There was no indication on their web site that these items were no longer being carried There was also no attempt at communicating any of this I d stay away from buying anything from world market they are dishonest or simply incompetent Probably both

Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support Ordered dinnerware from Cost Plus Packaging is completely insufficient Each package had multiple dishes arriving broken Reached out for customer support to receive a refund on the broken items Had to reach out 4 times on an item and never received a refund Emailed sent pictures multiple times and called All I get is directed to somebody else and nobody is helping Very frustrating experience
