GetYourGuide - booked Vatican skip-the-line that actually skipped the line

Booked a Vatican tour via GetYourGuide after checking Trustpilot - marketplace for 60k+ tours with free cancellation. Filtered for skip-the-line and guide speaking English, booked 2 tickets for €65 each. Confirmation scanned at entrance, guide met us with a flag, and we bypassed the 2-hour queue exactly as described. App shows real-time availability and refunds are instant if cancelled 24h before. Some listings are third-party so check operator ratings, but my tour matched photos and lasted the full 3 hours as listed.

Spent two months and more credits than I care to admit on this platform. The credit system is the core problem: every message, photo view and even some replies burn credits fast, turning natural conversation into a meter running in the background. Some members are clearly genuine and I had two lovely video dates through here, but an equal number of profiles seemed engineered to keep chats going without ever agreeing to meet. Costs balloon quietly to well beyond mainstream apps. Works eventually perhaps, but the economics feel designed against you.
