Recovery service contacted me unprompted

Vertelwaves reached out to me cold, claiming they could recover funds I lost in an unrelated online fraud, demanding upfront fees for the privilege. This is the textbook second-stage recovery scam pattern where fraudsters trade victim lists and pose as recovery specialists. Legitimate fund recovery works through lawyers or your bank, never unsolicited messages demanding advance payments. Anyone scammed before should block these people immediately.
