Overall I was pleased with this transaction with them The product arrived before the expected time There was a bit of an issue with the condition of the product when it arrived but the seller was very good about working with me to get a satisfactory resolution I would definitely purchase with them again

Great service great condition

Was struggling to find a book that was out of print saw copies on ebay for over 20 but delighted to see it on abebooks for 9 50 and free delivery no brainer Ordered straight away got a reply same day to say it was posted and literally in my hands the next night Great Service book in great condition and free fast delivery Better than expected then I read these other reviews Had I read before I probably wouldn t have ordered from them but my own experience was great so I will use again

Glad I ordered

I m sorry for all the people who had a bad experience with this website but I m so glad I didn t let their reviews dissuade me from ordering books for my son All my orders arrived within the week and condition was as described some of them even seemed like brand new so I didn t need to contact their customer service I did avoid one seller that had been mentioned negatively a couple of times so maybe that helped In case this is of interest I m sharing here the sellers I ordered from as they all sent the books on time and in good condition - London Bridge Books- Goldstone Books- Learnearly Books - Better World Books Ltd

A nice surprise

Was a little concerned as I placed an order for 2 books from AbeBooks and only after that read the reviews which were quite negative However was very happy with my books which were in good condition delivered quickly and a bargain no complaints by me thanks

I bought a new paper back book from Abe books USA through my amazon I live in the UK and no seller had the book in my country Anyway the service was first class the price was good it arrived well packed in bubble rap and in a plastic outer envelope in perfect condition about 2 weeks early and I really recommend them

I bought a book from Broadwater Books one of their independent sellers The company owner took the trouble to contact me to check my address and when he discovered our time constraints he and the courier he used expedited delivery for no extra charge The book I bought was in excellent condition for its age Personal service at its best

Cant complain

Read the comments and was sceptical about ordering however for how cheap the books are thought I would give it a go Made sure to pick very good condition rather then good as the description of how damaged the book can be is huge Had confirmation emails and all books arrived in less then a week I will be using again as new the books were 100 I was able to get for 25 with postage etc

Can those who complain at least give the name of the seller they bought from These sellers are damaging the honest one s business After receipt of another purchase on time and as described from one of the smaller independent sellers on ABE I wonder why there are more negative reviews than positive But not many ABE sell around 50 000 items a day there have been around 250 poor reviews in 15 years It must be that the vast majority of customers are like me satisfied All the customer usually needs to do is make simple checks on who they are buying from by looking at the seller s storefront and their other stock ABE itself does not own any books Some sellers have warehouses full on more than one continent some one or two hundred So level of service is obviously going to differ

Excellent service once again from AbeBooks can t fault them Ordered Wednesday night the book was delivered the following Monday Not a perfect copy but I understood this when I placed the order
