Avoid - scam

Ordered a book the 16 of February It was supposed to be delivered in 3-6 business days I am yet to receive it 0 email to let me know it would be late or if it is lost but they definitely took the cash This website is a scam Avoid Better use Amazon

Appalling

I ordered a book online which was listed as new When it arrived it was obviously damaged The front cover the back cover and the pages in between I sent it back to the supplier for a refund Greatbookprices- avoid at all costs on 20th November via Special Delivery The book was received the following day It is now three weeks later and despite repeated requests and complaints I am yet to receive my refund AbeBooks have taken zero responsibility as the intermediary in resolving the situation Avoid

Pieuler books As previous review ordered a book on 2 December for Christmas deliveryI was never given a tracking reference and have no proof of deliveryNo book delivered although seller says they sent itNow awaiting refund but no sign of that after over a weekI have never had trouble with delivery from Abe Books but will not be using them again This is such poor service

Poor filthy condition Not what expected

I m quite disappointed with my experience as I ve had no previous issues with abe books I obviously dont expect the books to be in brand new condition but this time I ordered over 30 pounds off books and the state they were in was horrific No words can describe how damaged and unreadable the books are Arrived with the pages all ripped and loads of sticky food substances on the pages along with a nasty smell I am very upset as these were supposed to be Christmas gifts

I ve never had a problem In the past but this time I ordered a book from Pieuler Store Suffolk United Kingdom through Abe Wrong tracking number sent 2nd tracking number was for a USA despatch Pieuler are a UK company Replacement book sent apparently but to date nothing has arrived Over 3 weeks since my order was placed Appalling service Refund requested

Awful

Awful The book that has arrived that said fair condition is absolutely falling apart and should not be given to anyone for free let alone be paid for It is in a shocking condition Sold by London Bridge books I m trying to contact Abe books because my account says it can t find my order history but there are no contact details anywhere Plus presumably il have to pay for return postage anyway when this book is in an appalling condition ie A faulty purchase Literally fallen apart in my hand- if only I could upload photos

Think before you use this company read the reviews

We ordered a book which never arrived there isnt a number you can call sent the email to state book hadn t arrived and got a reply stating I would hear back in 2 working days that was 12 days ago and not a word from anyone It was meant to be 2-3 days delivery but 21 days later I am still waiting for a reply or my book will try a refund next but from the reviews I have read this could be difficult

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this absolutely

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this absolutely terrible retailer They suck you in by offering a slightly cheaper price then the poor service begins I just received an email saying they had refunded my order from TWO weeks ago No apology just can t process the order They don t make it clear until you have checked out that your order can take up to a month I am assuming they don t keep the books in stock just act as middle men PLEASE Do yourself a favour pay 1 more and get a decent service
