Good service generally speaking

The process was fairly straightforward and I thought that the brokers did a good job of narrowing down potential lenders based on my particular circumstances The overall time from offer acceptance to mortgage offer was about five weeks I sometimes felt like the actual work of the mortgage lender was a bit opaque and I only received copies of documents such as the lender s valuation when I asked for them

Good service generally speaking Quick on response and takes charge One thing I want to mention is that on the first I was told I could get lower rate which turned out not to be the case Perhaps through research needs to be done prior to submitting offer email Also there were a lot of exchange of emails which could really have been done with one or two Having a list of things with their template or guide would be nice

Help finding a Mortgage

The first experience I had with Alexander Hall unfortunately didn t go so well the contact I had left the company and no followup contact before a while however when I got in touch a month after for a different project property the new contact i had has been brilliant and super responsive for the whole duration of the process

It was a good experience But it might be better to get responses faster

Excellent service after a shaky start

Initially a bit disappointing with the first point of contact we had - was a bit slow and promised a responses by a certain date but didn t deliver Complained about this and got quickly assigned to Chris who has been excellent throughout Very helpful and answers questions in a very clear way for first-time buyers He has been responsive and diligent in chasing our lender Chris has been reassuring when there were points our mortgage offer looked in jeopardy Also worth noting as we never saw this advertised that Alexander Hall waive their fee for NHS staff That said for the service we got from Chris I would have been happy to pay full rate

Alexander Hall were very thorough with their entire process from the the start to end Alexander Hall assisted advising me with my mortgage whilst also reviewing my current situation to ensure I was sufficiently covered in the event anything should occur and covered all avenues They were very professional and I would recommend to anyone looking for a new mortgage over moving house
