Non existent customer service if you live in UK
Non existent customer service if you purchase in the UK I purchased some Alpine Muffy Kids Ear Defenders from the Alpine Hearing Protection storefront on Amazon When they arrived and I took them out of the box I was immediately hit by a very strong plastic smell that filled the whole room I have had them hanging outside under cover to air for a week now and they still have a strong plastic smell I also noticed that the hearing protection rating on the box was 21db rather than the 25db advertised I contacted Alpine Hearing Protection to ask how long it might take for the strong smell to dissipate as they are unwearable whilst they smell like this and also to enquire about the discrepancy with the noise reduction ratings I was told that they were unable to answer my questions as I had bought them from Amazon despite the fact that I bought them from the Alpine Hearing Protection storefront with the listing described as Sold by Alpine Hearing Protection The link for product support on Amazon actually takes you to the Alpine Hearing Protection website and the customer service email that I used so it is wrong of them to say that they are unable to answer questions about products purchased from their Amazon Storefront I was only asking two questions not complaining or asking for a refund and each of the three times I attempted to contact them they refused to answer my questions and I found them to be rather rude and dismissive I am very disappointed as I believed that I was making a purchase from a reputable company Edit I received a refund from Amazon after managing to enter a live chat with a customer service assistant As I expected they were not able to answer my questions regarding the smell or the discrepancy in noise reduction ratings which is why I had attempted to contact Alpine Hearing Protection directly

Do not buy these products
Do not buy these products I purchased the Sleepdeep and Swimsafe and neither remotely work for me However they are refusing to refund me so I have wasted the best part of 30

I ordered party earplugs 2 weeks ago while it was supposed to arrive in 3 days I am still waiting I emailed twice- and called them but no answer Is it actually a legit company or scam

Appalling
Appalling Avoid at all costs I wish I could give zero Bought a faulty product through Amazon which states they provide warranty Impossible to get hold of when emailing girl on the phone just points back to Amazon who they say it s alpine Alpine are named seller and I have screenshots stating they provide warranty and customer support Now left with a useless shoddy product Contacting trading standards as goes against consumer law

I ordered the Muffy Baby ear protection I ordered them since it states 2 day delivery It has been 4 days no sign of it being shipped Also no response to two mesages left through their contact us page We had to get a replacement since it was time for vacation DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER

Let down on delivery AND customer service
Ordered a pair of baby ear defenders on their website on the 18th January The website stated next day delivery and the defenders were needed for an event on the 21st January I received shipping confirmation on the 19th but it stated that they wouldn t be delivered until after the 21st which would obviously be to late for us We then ordered the exact same pair from Amazon for next day delivery Once the original ear defenders turned up I email Alpine to ask for details on how to return the defenders but they have not bothered to respond to my email The product itself is great but I have no need for two pairs and feel very disappointed by the lack of customer service provided Would not use again

Awful awful awful They did not fulfil their promises with delivery time on their website meaning I didn t get them for an event I needed them for They are now refusing a refund meaning postage back to them costs just as much as the earplugs Stay well away from this website unless you want to wast your money

Very Poor product and very expensive
Very Poor product and very expensive Bought sleepbuds as they were sold as blocking out snoring Have used foam plugs for 15 years with no problems but not most eco friendly so thought I would get theseMy partner doesn t snore really loudly but these didn t even stop some of the noise Contacted the company to say it s not fit for purpose and they advised as they had been used they can t be returned This is against the distance selling regulations and also the information on the packaging is misleading I shall be taking this further and even though it was only for 11 tempted to go to small claims

Terrible earplugs don t waste your money
The earplugs I ordered did not reduce even the quietest of sounds normal conversation wind blowing outside etc despite fitting well They aren t as good as foam or cheap silicone earplugs and I had concerns the flimsy tag to pull them out would eventually tear leaving them stuck in my ear I was expecting something way better for the price I paid I wish I d read the reviews here instead of falling for the glowing 5 star reviews on their website I purchased 2 pairs and obviously had to open one to try them out this goes against their return policy which is absolutely ridiculous I complained they weren t fit for purpose and asked for a shipping label and was emailed one which I wasn t expecting after reading the reviews here I sent them back and have heard nothing even after emailing to say I could see they had received them Fortunately I paid with PayPal so I have opened a case to get my money back
