Great Customer Setvice

Wow what can I say but how pleased we were to combine our two auto loans with Altra Federal Credit Union They make it so easy and with Great rates We even applied for their Credit card and transferd a balance from another card because Altra s rates were lower then the others Monica and Elizabeth from Onalaska s office are Rock stars at their jobs So nice so professional and they really know their jobs and treat you like family Because of Staff like Monica Elizabeth gives Altra a Great reputation an excellent customer service Kuddos to you both

The main thing that makes the company great is the way that it treats its clients like family members Altra in my experience is one of the best credit unions around and it certainly has made me look at banking a lot differently than in the past After my experience with Altra I would not go back to a traditional bank and in my mind traditional banks could learn a lot from credit unions such as Altra In a five star rating system I would give them a ten

Melody my personal banker was outstanding in every way She has a dynamic personality and is kind patient and filled with knowledge She is a student of her profession and knows it well I m so happy that she was the person who helped me open my personal and business checking accounts

My routing number was compromised on my

My routing number was compromised on my checking account I have had this same checking account for over 20 years I was devastated The fraud department was very helpful in getting a new checking account opened The lady I spoke with was very patient and walked me through each process I am forever grateful She always was able to get the funds compromised transferred back to my account the same day She told me she would watch my account to make sure paychecks were deposited to the correct account It feels good knowing someone is watching out for you

Excellent Employees

Altra has been phenomenal in helping me keep up with and manage my finances I recently spoke to Narcica and Mara I hope I spelled that right from the loans and credit services departments and they were absolutely AMAZING in helping me pay my auto loan I called in about 5 minutes before closing and they were so nice and eager to help and it felt like they were treating me like heir own family Narcica hopefully Especially was so eager to help me save money and find the best way to pay for me These ladies definitely deserve a raise

Excellent service great benefits kind staff

Staff at Altra are personable and kind Not only is there no fee for checking but you get interest I had a great experience getting my first mortgage and with refinancing when the interest rates had dropped My debit card has been protected by fraud alert staff It just feels both safe and homey to bank at Altra Even though I moved to the Twin Cities over 8 years ago I ve continued to keep my money at Altra because of the positive experience I have had there

Altra is a customer friendly place

When going to the credit Union and feeling my usual little anxieties at such times or calling in for an agent which I don t want to do I feel relieved by the warm and friendly way they try to fulfill the request even it s something out of their range I ve been with Altra since about 2009 It s a specially good place for banking

Helpful staff

I do most of my banking online There have been several times when I needed help from one of the staff to complete a more complex banking issue In each of those cases I ve found whoever I ve dealt with to be very competent and very helpful to achieve my goal That personal touch contrasts with the impersonal hands-off approach from national banks

I was helped with a billing update issue with Jeri Lee Weigel She was a GEM to work with Provided me with options to get me setup and saved me additional charges to ensure I wouldn t miss a payment Folks like Jeri should always be highlighted someone who takes care of the task at hand with a great warm welcoming attitude
