Poor quality items and terrible customer service
I bought what was supposed to be a high-quality Dash Albert rug from Annie Selke Two years later even though the rug was in my bedroom which is clean and dry the backing was completely detaching from the rug This rug is in a low-traffic area and I don t wear shoes in my home I tried to work with Annie Selke to get a replacement or some kind of financial compensation to get it repaired but they wouldn t even send me any fabric glue This rug was not inexpensive All they offered was a vague recommendation that I should get a latex glue and then offered to give me a discount ON MY NEXT PURCHASE I asked Why would I ever buy another product from you when you won t stand behind the quality of the product I already own I ultimately opened a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which they have ignored Terrible experience

Horrible customer service
I rarely leave bad reviews 1 Ordered an item on sale Item never arrived After I initiated an inquiry AS just said too bad so sad it s sold out No attempt to contact me and initiate refund or get item in stock Item WAS back in stock a few weeks later but AS would not honor the previous sale I had purchased it under 2 Ordered large ottoman Wrong item arrived Took multiple emails and phone calls Took AS a week to respond to my inquiries only after I emailed and called Took them a week to even PLACE the new order Took them 2 weeks to pick up the old item Customer service was completely unhelpful and rude Never again

Bait and Switch
Their website promoted a bench on sale for an incredible price So I ordered it What arrived -- 3 weeks later -- was a cube not a bench I called Cust Service and they said they d send the correct product Okay great Then the next day I got an email - in fact email after email from a snarky CS rep telling me that I knew I was ordering the cube and that she was sending me a tag to return it via FedEx and then then I d get my refund Mind you no apology no admission that their website STILL shows the same product at the same incredible price Just I m wrong and this is what is going to happen Nope - it is illegal to promote something on your website and not honor the price So I said so And they don t give a poot Never expected such unethical behavior from this company Never again

Save yourselves the aggravation
The blanket recently purchased from Annie Selke is possibly the worst quality I have ever seen You can find better and cheaper blankets at Target or its equivalent Threadbare chemically treated scratchy and unbelievably poor quality This store used to be reliable for worthwhile purchases and should never be relied upon again Such a shame

Bait and switch
Bait and switch After purchasing a rug that was discounted by 70 the company cancelled my order saying they did not have one in stock I asked to get the same rug in a different color for the same price They refused and said the best that could be done was 15 off the same rug at the original price The website is still showing the discounted rug as being available for purchase I spoke with customer service in an attempt to resolve and they refused to let me speak with a manager I would stay far away from this company I have seen other reviews and this seems to be a common theme for them

Terrible Customer Service
After purchasing a rug on December 29 2024 it has been lost in transit as of today No replacement was sent as was promised and I have called my bank to dispute the charge Annie Selke is telling me I cannot cancel the new order they created but there is no information about the order or a tracking number Customer service now says I can t cancel the order even though there is no shipping information for the replacement What happened to Annie Selke This has been a terrible experience

always out of stock bad customer service skip this company
Wish I d read these For the second time I ordered a duvet cover and shams was charged then notified the cover was out of stock Still hassling with them About to start a dispute with Am Exp Do not purchase from them Their Customer Service is just inept The website is inaccurate they offer you a laughable discount on next order but refuse to honor it on any item on promo every now and then not often you run into a company that deserves to go under this is one of them In both cases I liked the appearance of the duvet cover in both cases a couple days later oops we don t have that anymore There are plenty of other places to purchase fine linens There s no reason to suffer through ordering from AS and then spending time rectifying their mess

They sent the the right ottoman with the wrong legs When I reached out I was told sorry what you ordered is all we have it doesn t come with any other legs When I asked why I was not contacted to be given the option of canceling or accepting they had no answer I explained I had spent of 800 on something I did not order Just kept apologizing I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told no one was available however I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours This was over week ago Do not purchase anything from this company Not one ounce of professionalism or integrity

Over charge for shipping and handling fees charges
Bought an xs tunic which turned out to be xl I paid 24 70 plus tax plus 18 95 in shipping I sent them photos of incorrect size They told me they would send me a free return shipping label refund my 24 70 however now I see they are charging me a 18 02 HANDLING fee Refund 8 42 If I don t hear from them soon this will be a credit card dispute Looks like I got their attention I m getting my 24 70 refund

Absolutely the worst customer service I
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered Order was placed after business hours The website did not give me an opportunity to update my address There was also no confirmation page of any kind to review my order There is zero ability to cancel the order from the website or confirmation emails I called customer care as soon as it opened the next day I was advised I was unable to cancel the order as it had already been processed This was untrue the item was still sitting in the same order status from the night before The items had not left the warehouse No tracking number was created for shipping I was told I also could not change the shipping address- even though the error in shipping was something on their end I was told to call back when a shipping label was created from fed ex I called back a few hours later with a tracking number from fed ex I was still told the item address could not be updated as it was only the shipping label and the item was not actually in transit I called back the next day when item was in transit I was told they would try to change the shipping address but it was already in transit and they couldn t guarantee it could be changed This is the craziest scam I have ever heard of I asked repeatedly through the process to speak to a manager I was told none were available I was told someone would call me back After items already in transit a very rude manager did call me back She advised me there was nothing she could do I tried to explain I had talked to them for close to three days at this point She told me that was impossible as they aren t open on weekends and I must have been talking to the fall center What The call center is not the company I mean I totally understand call centers are outsourced in 2025 However the idea that the call center conversations don t represent the business blew my mind Especially given that it s the only number to call and when you ask to speak to someone else they tell you there is no one available to talk to you This manager after rudely informing me there was nothing she could do then told me she wouldn t take my abuse I had admittedly been angry with call center but when I spoke to her I was very calm she was unwilling to even listen to me and then hung up the phone Beware- this place is awful
