Advert was not accurate

Radio advert on 16 July said An Post insurance was underwritten by Aviva but when my paperwork arrived for new insurance purchased same day that was not the case It s FBD not Aviva for my car insurance Otherwise the An Post online site was easy to use and I was happy with the quote

Nice to deal with an easy to contact staff wise overall good top quality insurance company

My present provider increased my policy

My present provider increased my policy by almost 40 even though we have been claim free for 25 years and is not interested in loyalty I sincerely hope An Post will be a better option for me in the future

GDPR a pain but it can be overcome

The staff who dealt with the query were courteous professional and knew their business My mam is elderly and as such a vulnerable customer The red tape of GDPR can be painful at times But your call centre staff made it as easy as possible given the regulations

Overall a good experience I had one query before confirming my purchase of car insurance and person dealing with this did not get back to me However got sorted with another person when I phoned back again Competitive price for car insurance which is good to see

after shopping around as per usual each year this was the best value for third party car insurance The online process is very clear and easy to navigate also

No change in circumstances but a rise in my premium

I switched to An Post last year - very competitive quote My circumstances have not changed so i was expecting the same quote again this year It still was a competitive quote But I was a little disappointed It seems whenever you switch companies you get a good deal - i e thank you for switching to us If there is a further rise in my premium next year I defintely will be on the move again I remain vigilant Maybe reward your customer for been your customer if there isn t a change of circumstances etc

From the moment I decided to try An Post insurance it was an excellent service Promptly I got areply from somebody who was very helpful had vast correct information I had full confidence in her The follow up and delivery of service was EXCELLENT

It was relatively straightforward but there was an issue in finding my car with the registration Needed a couple of phone calls as it couldn t be completed online Competitive price though

I love how easy it is to get a quote

I love how easy it is to get a quote and you are always so competitive sometimes even against yourself I always get a new quote that s cheaper than my renewal which you can n very match on my existing policy I m just glad it s so easy to set up a new policy online makes life very easy
