its taken over a year and my annuity has still not processed
I retired on december 14th 2023 and am still waiting for my annuity to be sorted had a letter saying my money had been sent to aviva in october phoned aviva in december and they had not received it

The company that never gets back to you
I never received my registration code for the oneview portal so this is what has happened so far 1 I never received my registration code for the new portal My wife received hers long ago we both worked at Morrsions 2 I rang up and spoke to a lady who gave me a code It wouldn t work but she said it would within 24 hours3 I rang up again as 48 hours later the code still didn t work This different lady was not helpful She just said there was a known glitch and to keep trying 4 After trying every day for over a week the registration still wouldn t work so I filled in your online form for some help I got an email the same day saying someone would be in touch they never got back to me 5 After waiting and not getting a reply to the form I filled in this questionnaire that I am doing again now A chap rang and left me an answering machine message as I was unavailable He said he had reported the issue and that someone would get back to me SUPRISE SUPRISE nobody has got back to me that was 8 days ago 6 So I am filling in this survey AGAIN I do not retire for 20 years but I would love it if someone could resolve this issue before then so that I may access the portal and see my pension details before I do retire or die from the exhaustion and frustration of trying to get someone to resolve this Kindest of RegardsMr John Beech

Impossible to find anyone to speak
Impossible to find anyone to speak with I have been sent cryptic messages with missing information but no way to communicate back to quickly resolve 1st I receive a letter requesting sensitive information that should be submitted for settlement of my retirement options There are no details of where to send this information to whom or how The idea that Aptia would lose this information was not acceptable Then online I stumbled on a website that said the process could be done online but asked for a different set of information This was uploaded but there was no confirmation online that the information was accepted Next I get an e-mail that this information was received but data was missing This was information in the letter but not on the website that specifically advised not to send information that was not requested Again there was no Aptia contact information and no instruction on how to send or upload I tried to call but the contact numbers on the letter did not work I assumed because I was calling from outside of the UK Once again I fumbled online to find the site I had found before to upload the information I could have uploaded the first time As before no confirmation the website the data was successfully received until I got an e-mail Still no information on how to reply who is handling the issues or anything to give me confidence that my issues were being addressed by a human nor if this was last piece of information needed to complete the task It is as if the objective is to make this as difficult as possible to identify someone handling the enquiry to communicate to Aptia and of course to delay settlement of the issue

Aptia and Whitbread Pension Trustees
Aptia and Whitbread Pension Trustees are not fit for purpose in my experience I don t believe Whitbread Pension Trustees are actually fit for purpose and certainly do not have their fund members best interest at heart Having gone through the formal complaint procedure due to Aptia Whitbread s Pension Administrator providing me with significant incorrect forecasts over the last 12 years in the excess of 100K shortfall on my final salary pension that only came to light a few months before I was due to take my pension They showed no compassion and offered a minuscule 2 5K compensation and missed out several points of my complaint in their reply My case is now being dealt with by the ombudsman Had I known how incompetent the schemes administration was and the lack of support from its Trustees I would not have joined the pension scheme or stayed with Whitbread and given them 25 years service Shame on you Whitbread and your Trustees A heads up for their employees when they mess up they basically say oops tough luck we made a mistake Shocking

Worried Sick
My stress levels are through the roof as I am still trying to access my pension that was due 1st November 2024 I constantly get told that the hold up is that they are awaiting Standard Life to disinvest my AVC funds despite the fact that I have provided evidence that the funds were actually transferred in October 2023 to Mercer MMT - BAe Systems Additional Retirement Saving Plan This was then disinvested to the BAE Systems Pension Scheme on 1st November 2024 Despite numerous phone calls and emails I still have no idea when my pension will be paid Consequently I am living off savings and family support Seeing some of the other posts about people waiting for their pension going as far back as 2021 I am extremely worried now I believe the issue has now been escalated to Management but that still is not reassuring me about finally getting my pension

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company All the other companies I have pensions with have great websites where you can monitor your investments and all have increased over the years Every time I try and look to see what my pension is with this company and click on Transfer Value I get this message Transfers are temporarily suspended whilst the trustees review the impact of a recent government announcement on changes to the retail prices index RPI Received a transfer quotation today and pension has dropped from 66K to 42K since October 2024 Now I can t request another quotation for another 12 months unless I pay them 400

I received my pension pack in September
I received my pension pack in September 2024 as an estimated review of receiving my full MNRPF pension Jan 9th 6 days before my birthday I received another pack minus 4000 asking me to sign I complained after consulting family members to how they received their pensions they were astonished to how mine was being dealt with advised me to take it further which I will be doing Update 10 01 25 I ve now been told Tuesday 14 01 25 it s up for review Surely my pension should not be reinvested frozen at time of consultation The staff are lovely but behind the scenes this does not add up

waiting for a pay out they ignore my mails sent me a log in for an account that doesnt work always find a reason to put me off and make promises on the phone then completely ignore my requests is this a legit firm why would such a great employer like BOSCH use these people

Really poor service and lack of contact
My advice if you have a choice don t use these people Clueless and impossible to deal with No information about delayed payout despite repeated phone calls and emails all of which are ignored I have pensions with other providers and have no issues

Absolutely useless support
Absolutely useless support Their website and services are terrible Honestly best recommendation is to not use this terrible company for anything HSA is supposed to be company neutral but they have managed to screw this up and their incompetence is preventing access to my own money and tax forms All of their support and forms are only available from within your account so when that is screwed up you re screwed Useless Screw aptia Take your money and service to requirements to other companies
