To my humble experience this site has no moral compass what so ever all you have to do is open a account and let someone pay for it and before you know it your server gets hijacked and locks you out after hours of work setting up the server and building time i contact support they were not helpful but MONEY played a big roll no matter if you had a server for 5 years all it takes i one individual to mess it up Support arkservers are a bunch of kids who just love the money side of things no care on who you are

Ordered a test server thank god it was just a test server FTP didn t work and they refused to do a very simple zip extract for me on my 7DTD server I m sorry we can t do that Pathetic host 100 would advise you all to look elsewhere as this lot won t even unzip something for you A used condom is more helpful

i think they lie and dont tell the customer the whole truth an when u start you pay 16 pounds and then they ask you for more money even thought they have payed for the whole of september its wrong and unfair im still going to wait for my refund of the whole 112 pounds back in my account as well as the 16 pounds as the starter fee

The server has been extremely inconsistent lately Constant disconnects

No support and desn t let you know that you need to upgrade to higher plan for GEN 2

You have stolen a server from a friend and her money and clamed you did a refund when you clearly didnt

So I signed up for the 16 60 slot deal that arkservers io hawks to the net a week before Ark Gen 2 dropped My plan was to start streaming a modded version of Ark on Crystal Isle There sales pitch talks about how easy it is to install mods and it is but what they did NOT describe is how once you start installing mods you need to rent ADDITIONAL RAM to house those mods Ok so I get it more cost for more memory but then Gen 2 hit and what a cluster that was Most of the servers were down their discord was a riot of customers not being able to run it and or their other servers that dont run Gen 2 were also crashing They asked for patience no body expected Gen 2 to be so un-optimized and I said ok makes sense I ll let this ride for a month and come back once things settle Well Im back a month later and still couldnt get my server to stay up more than 10 min at a time When I looked for support I get an email us at and we will get back to you within 48 hours Are you kidding me Not to mention that when I said in their discord that at 16 for 60 slots I could be a little understanding one of their own moderators said well thats a little misleading its 60 slots on The Island map with basically no mods running STAY AWAY from this group of con artists and go with a reputable company to host your servers Ive canceled my server mid month and will not be back even though I lost money on this crap

i bought a server to play ark gen 2 once i paid for it it said i can not play it unless i pay 35 bucks instead So i forked over more money which is WRONG and it still crashes and refuses to load with zero mods and Zero addons

So this review does not come without some serious consideration I really tried to like Arkservers io We launched a 9 map cluster back in October as we were mainly drawn due to the price and you clearly get what you pay for here All went smoothly up until about the third month in and we started experiencing some serious lag issues amongst all our maps For about 2 weeks I tried to get some help with the servers only to get dismissive answers blaming it on a large amount of lights or too many dinos on our maps After 2 weeks I finally got someone to actually look and it was discovered that it was a hardware issue and had nothing to do with us After a rather sloppy migration that was done without warning and resulted in many of my players losing characters and items my request for some sort of compensation for poor service went unanswered Then just a few days ago lost a full day of play time due to a massive CPU spike that was yet again caused by hardware issues on their end My support requests went ignored by support staff for 16 hours before I got a rather dismissive copy and paste email telling me to move my servers to a new machine yet again ignoring any request for further information or compensation due to lost play time Adding together the combined days of unplayable lag - it would be about 5 months of free playtime as compensation for one of our servers All being said Arkservers io is a great value for your money if you are just looking to host a server with a couple of friends Would not recommend for larger clusters

They oversold their server slots now everyone suffers they say we can move the server to a better location but NA is full No I don t want to play from Europe Edit Issue was resolved after 3 days
