Feel like such an idiot
Feel like such an idiot Bought a 3 camera setup Got a micro SD to record locally so no subscription needed Then find out that means zero functions remain on the 3 cameras I paid 800 for Literally every feature is locked unless you commit to a subscription rendering your cameras useless Will be returning tomorrow if I can otherwise selling the kit what a pathetic company clearly not content making money from selling physical goods greed got the better of them Hopefully they ll be shunted out of the market when enough people shop elsewhere

Apparently very poor support
One of my cameras stopped pushing notifications to my iPhone Checking out the support pages I find it is a known issue and has been such for several years apparently without a fix I raised a ticket with the support desk but got no response I am now planning to remove all the cameras from my system and replace them with some from a more reputable manufacturer

Arlo support is horrible
Arlo support is horrible Cannot talk to anyone who speaks English anf if you escalate they tell you they will call you within one hour after calling 4 not times trust me it is a lie 4 and 5 hours later you might get a call back Also they are continually increasing rates no notification They alledgidly have sent emails but I recieved none and they refuse to try to fix the email issue with me on phone Horrible NO support Shame on them

Arlo - Avoid Probably should have read the reviews
Probably should have read the reviews on line before purchase 1 i like the tech functions and look of the cameras but 2 cameras have to work and the App needs to work also 3 NO support and i DO have a subscription So into Arlo for 3 Cameras and Subs so 400 and i have only one that works correctly one that records everything despite the set up and therefore battery lasts 2 days and one that is offline and will not switch on at all I ask for support and get a manual Dont know if all are aware but this is part of Verisure LOL Not like the adds you see on TV hey Cheers

Double charged No useful customer service to fix
We switched from an annual plan from a monthly plan when Arlo jacked up the prices Instead they gave us both a monthly plan and an annual plan There is no one to call and I m on my fifth email with non English speakers giving me incomprehensible jargon I need to transition my wife from a grant access invite to a grant access user neither term being defined in the emails or on the website And so far no offer to refund the double charge

NO customer service
The equipment has been great really outstanding Until I implemented this new upgrade it was easy to use and worked fine Now with the upgrade my cameras are offline and I cannot find out how to retrieve them I cannot speak with a live agent which is REALLY what I need without a subscription which reading the reviews will be impossible to cancel Until now a subscription was entirely unnecessary I highly urge going with a different company that actually offers help to its customers

Really poor customer experience
Really poor customer experience IManaged to somehow set up a plan with a different account Even though it was same email So I had to buy a new plan and they agreed to refund the incorrect one I still have not received a refund after 6 weeks I chase them It takes over a week to respond and they just say they are looking into it Then they said they have paid me back but I haven t received it So now they re saying they are investigating Even though I had previously confirmed I hadn t received the payment they claimed they made to me Still unresolved and ongoing

I have 3 older outdoor cameras that have been good So we bought the doorbell and an indoor camera that after the initial 30 60 days we no longer have access to videos unless we buy a subscription Definitely will not buy another arlo

Unauthorised withdrawal from my bank account Customer services rep A total waste of time Case started and I have uploaded the photoshot of the withdrawal from my bank account 4 times and they still ask me to update the case or they will close This company is the worst one I have ever had the misfortune to choose for my cctv I have been left without any coverage for nearly 3 weeks due to the abysmal service The last rep Would not even divulge her name as I was going to report her for being the most inept rep ever encountered
