The sales pitch was good but follow up

The sales pitch was good but follow up leaves a good bit of improvement I had asked for paper copies of my husband s and my motor insurance policies as we have no access to a printer and I got mine and my husband got a receipt of his payment I phoned again to request the missing items and this is now over 2 weeks and still no sign of my husband s motor insurance policy and disc and my receipt ofpayment

File Confusion

Online Quote was much lower than telephone quote which we reluctantly accepted Recently while checking for a Home Insurance Quote for myself Breeda Behan and while I got an online quote which was followed up by a phone call When I answered call I was asked Is this Christina to which I responded I am Christina s daughter - who is speaking please I did ask why they were asking to speak to my Mother whose House Insurance I had purchased a few weeks earlier as I have a totally different address Lady could not explain this apart from saying that the files must have got mixed up FYI - I look after all my Mum s financial affairs as she is 91 years of age and slightly deaf

did not have a good experience here goes paid for my insurance on 3rd Oct I was instructed by Lisa to forward proof of no claims bonus and copy of my driving licence by E-mail and did so on 3rd Oct I rang Acorn Loughrea on Mon 11 Oct and was told I had to send in actual no claims and driving licence by Claire why was this no explained on 3rd Oct My insurance cert arrived today 18th Oct my previous insurance expired 9th Oct

Customer service a joke Rip off too

Been with them for a number of years Some of the people that I have dealt with on the phone can be quite snarky and think they are know it alls when in fact they can be quite wrong with statements they have come out with After a number of years of having built up a No claims bonus it didn t in fact bring the price down For a brokers they are fairly lining their own pockets I have went to different insurance companies for quotes and getting a hell of a lot cheaper quotations Customer service is a farce when it comes to people being smart on the phone I m not a bit impressed with them lately especially being a customer with them for a number of years

The only thing I disliked was the amount of phone calls texts and messages that were made before I renewed my policy I knew it was due and I was always going to pay it before the due date but 3 4 ph calls and then text messages etc EVERY day for about 3 weeks beforehand was ridiculous

I was sent a quote in good time which was fine but i had to point out it was considerably more than last year i got a quote myself which was more in line which was then matched by acorn in other words i did the work

Need to improve breakdown assist

Need to improve breakdown assist charging after 15km from your garage or house can be very expensive esp when other insurance companies covers the costs from anywhere in Ireland to your garage or house

Very impressed was able to speak with someone with pushing many buttons Received calls back in a timely manner Staff very friendly and efficient
