The service provided by bankrupt bikeparts is great However their efforts are being undermined by the absolutely crappy royalmail so called delivery service - pathetic shambolic unreliable hopeless pizz-poor barly even begins to cover it

Order Two fully assembled 28 inch wheels with Westwood rims one front wheel and one rear wheel threaded to accept a freewheel and cog Likes Excellent transatlantic customer communications via email quick shipment Liked Not So Much 1 Box arrived much flattened from its orginal dimensions in an accordian-like state with the axles of the ordered wheels sticking out of both sides and taped over the wheels did not appear to be damaged in shipment I m pretty sure the shipper did this but you might have a word with them 2 However the inside rim of the front wheel appears to have been damaged at birth the weld joining the Westwood style rim is smooth on the outside i e the side contacting the brake pads but has a prominent ridge on the inside that might or might not interfere with the proper seating of the tire bead 3 What will undoubtedly interfere with the tire and tube is the rash of sharp granules and welding ka-ka technical term that covers about a third of the inside circumference of the rim on one side they were sharp enough to tear skin when I ran my finger around the inside of the rim I have tried grinding them down with various Dremel bits but it s slow going I will say that the product was accurately described during my pre-purchase communications non UK components assembled by you at your facility but still there should be some quality control eh I ll do some more grinding and I will try fitting it to my old Raleigh Tourist if I can get it to fit and it s reasonably round and reasonably true and doesn t chew up my tires and tubes I will count myself satisfied But try a little harder on the QC

Easy to order quick delivery but doesn t fit the goal well I had to make some adjustments and use some other string to bridge a few gaps Got there in the end but it doesn t look great I wouldn t order again

package came with no extra wrapping ie bubblewrap etc Just cardboard box with wheel inside

Delivery has been held up by royal mail otherwise your service is usually 1st rate

Purchase turned up in record time but unfortunately wrong item was sent Have sent email to return and get replacement

Thank you for your delivery however due to possible water damage the bearings within the wheels had rusted and can only assume that these wheels over time will not be fit for purpose I have a picture should you require proof

Had opted for next day delivery didn tcome till today 3 4 24 very dissatisfied but hey ho its here

I love the speed and service although some instructions on how to fit these would be helpful as these do not seem to be a standard fitting I can t figure out how to connect the brake cable

Web site allowed me to order parts that were not in stock so payment taken Refund granted once the situation recognised hence the 3 stars
