The unit this replaced we had for 5

The unit this replaced we had for 5 years and it never missed a beat this is the so called improved and updated model We have had this American fridge freezer for about a month the crisper box actually freezes potatoes and the flip in and out door seal bar works when it wants but I just cannot be bothered to sit in a que to chase Beko for an engineer to visit

Had this Washer Dryer a few weeks now

Had this Washer Dryer a few weeks now and i have to say no demonstration was given upon delivery on how to operate I ve never owned a washer dryer before but felt a lot of negative feedback was being given to me by the delivery driver It took a total of 12 hours of unnecessary wash cycles for me to work out how to use the machine correctly Not the best of experiences i must say Quite stressful and waste of money time and energy

Working OK

We paid 45 extra for the full service on delivery of the Freezer But we got nothing more than the operative plugging the freezer in and taking away the old one Also it seems strange that the Freezer has no door handle We have to grab the freezer door to open it Otherwise it s working perfectly well and a new feature is a small alarm if you leave the door open too long

Internal dimensions very small

The machine is the same dimensions as my previous machine but has much less capacity Aldo the gutters had problems fitting it as the legs were in a different place and did not fit exactly My previous machine was also a Beko so why change the configuration for fitting

Had to buy replacement freezer as the other Beko didn t last

Had to buy replacement freezer as the Beko I had before failed me It was less than four years old The reason I knew it wasn t working properly was the warning lights and also the frost that appeared in my frost free freezer Now it seems Beko feel we no longer need this feature and have removed it from this newer model Also the noise that goes off if you have left have the door open too long is really quiet compared to before Why would you alter remove such important features Another I don t understand is there were flaps for the top two compartments before Not anymore but yet the grooves are there for them Surely it is better for the food and freezing if contained more Really disappointed wasn t expecting these changes and not for the better Price not any less for less

Freezer is good but manual is useless

Freezer is good but manual is useless It talks of fast freeze button but there isnt one and that orange light is on when fast freeze is on which is wrong I also think that given the high price of the freezer it should have a thermometer or thermostat with explicit temperature settings - after all my fridge has that at a much lower price To be told I need a thermometer is just annoying

We bought a basic model Beko Washing

We bought a basic model Beko Washing Machine to replace the same the simplicity of the machine suits me The machine is fine but the front panel is not flat-it has a slight bevel on the left and also on the right side which does not affect the working but is not really acceptable on a brand new product Curry s were not very helpful even though their installer put it in place

The dishwasher is first class

The dishwasher is first class - but it arrived with no fitting kit it s an integrated dishwasher - so expecting a few bits and pieces Plus there was no instruction manual so had to download one It is impossible to chat to anyone at Beko - I probably should have gone to the supplier but when you are trying to fit a dishwasher on a Sunday morning you know you are on your own

Not value for money

It has no comparison with my previous Belling Cookers the last of which I had for 22 years and only had to change because of lack of replacement parts For a free standing cooker the Beko is very low and is going to have to be raised to make the oven more easily accessible The shelf in the grill oven compartment is far too close to the grill It s impossible to see anything on the grill pan if the shelf is used No proper grill pan with handle supplied as a standard accessory The main oven thermostat has to be set much higher than my other cookers and items take longer to cook For the price I expected a better performance even if it did not match the Belling cookers I was hoping to reduce my energy consumption with a new cooker but I don t think that is going to happen
