All aspects of quotation took far longer than expected and we constantly had to chase things up deadlines and promises given were seldom achieved Took around 3 months to finalise

When originally contacted I was put through to a consultant but they never answered On the second time they rang I was put through and at the end of the process I was told they would have to ring me back the following day during office hours to speak to my bank to change the direct debit The call never happened and the change went ahead which was queried by the company I was switching from as the direct debit was cancelled without informing them I then received an e-mail from Better protect saying I had to call them as there was a minor problem to resolve When I rang them it was just the direct debit query from my previous supplier which I was told was not an issue I got a better deal but Betterprotect need to improve their internal communication and attention to detail in terms of keeping track of what they have told customers and taking the actions promised

Although at the time the advice seemed good we where told to cancel payments on our current insurance which still was good value to us we have now reviewed and have reinstated our previous policy Glad I checked this out

The policy review went perfect there was no problem at all reviewer couldn t be more helpful however we were not advised at any point that because we ve paid in advance for our existing policy this could not be cancelled which meant that for a month or so we had to be charged for both new and existing policy It is unacceptable that we were not informed of this at the point of sale and therefore we were not given the chance to decide when we wanted the new policy to start so that we wouldn t get double charged

Originally made contact online but was soon contacted by phone would have preferred more time this would have reduced the friction on the phone as I felt slightly pressured and it did take a second call for me to make up my mind eventually

Wrong account number used which resulted in non payment of direct debit TWICE Hopefully by September it will be sorted or thats what I have been promised

it was a hassle as I have a chronic health condition and is more expensive than I wanted to pay but it is done
