If you own a BMW without the factory installed Apple Car Play you should know that if you purchase the aftermarket version through this company every time your dealer has to service your car it will wipe out your 399 purchase and you will have to spend an additional 75 to 140 to get it back Stay away from this product unless you re willing to pay about 2K or more depending on how often your idrive system must be reset for service Wonder what kind of back room deal resulted in this consumer fleecing scam I have increased my rating to 3 stars in appreciation of your response and your offer to discount the re-coding cost how do I take advantage of the discount My overall experience is still somewhat jaded by the facts that while the issue was not caused by your company the customer is ultimately still left holding the bag and the service reps I spoke to were quick to tell me I had to pay to fix something that wasn t my fault either BMW SERVICE department gave me a different impression than the typical scenario you provided and my car s system has already been reset four times in two years My wife s 2020 model has been reset twice in less than a year fortunately BMW decided to include ACP from the factory for this model year Your consumers can decide for themselves but ideally you shouldn t have to risk multiple payments for something that should be a one-time payment product

SiriusXM coding for mini cooper
I purchased the SiriusXM coding for my Mini Cooper and the coding process were for the most part pretty straight forward and didnt take too long These guys definitely gets the job done The part that makes me give 3 stars instead of 5 was the fact that the technician was very condencending and left me stranded in a way towards the end In the middle of the coding session the Enet cable didnt connect correctly and instead of asking if the cable was connected correctly or if i got the right cable tech asked Did you see the instructions before this session Did you see the instructions AND understand it completely only after i asked what s wrong i was informed the cable seems to not be working which by the way worked once i wiggled it in several time And at the end of the session after i said thank you the program was still showing clearing errors please wait for quite some time and i asked if i should wait or disconnect since everything seems to be working and i received no response and after waiting for several minutes i decided to unplug everything and close down the session so technical knowledge 5 stars communication definitely need some work

Product shipped quickly Very good instructions Now that it is installed it will not work Radio works the same Nothing happens when I press and hold menu button for 3 s on the iDrive controller I have started a ticket with them I am not confident as before when radio didnt work Bimmer-techs 150 consultant could not diagnose problem Turned out to be a bad amp So I got a reply from them They communicated with me but I did not see it however they do their communication Now I have a replacement amp from Bavlogic that was coded for my car Everything works except the Bimmertech MMI When I have time I will take photos of the connections as they asked So maybe buy a screen that does CarPlay instead of the MMI

Wont ship product Okay here is an update More of a lack of info then anything else Lead time for shipping the remote start was 7 to 10 days They had a supplier issue and could not ship I had to initiate most communication and was not told of the supplier issue Could have been more patient if they had let me in on it So I asked for a refund and hit this site Low and behold they wanted to give me a tracking number saying it would not take long to get to me Shipping from overseas by the way I had already decided I have done without a remote start all my life and am good with that They offered a 5 discount which was nice to offer but kind of low ball Long story short probably good equipment just not great communication So I rescind the won t ship part just should have let me know about the supplier issue Update Got my refund but only after waiting a week and calling and inquiring Said it was processed already then low and behold that day I get a notice refund was processed Overall satisfied with resolve Most if not ALL of the contact was started by me Thanks
