YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Customer service is nonexistent Emailed when they reopened after pandemic Received automated response saying someone would reply shortly No one did Then they sent a survey asking about my experience with their customer service Gave a rating of one like here Survey asked if I d like someone to contact me No one did THEN they implemented a reservation only system to schedule my workouts This system requires downloading a mobile application When I read their privacy policies I felt uncomfortable but attempted to download the app anyhow Unfortunately the application is buggy and it wasn t compatible with my android phone I then requested technical assistance and received an automated reply stating that someone would soon assist me Meanwhile I wanted to work out so I called on the phone Apparently no one answers the blink phone but they have a greeting that says they can t answer the phone because they re making other members happy I on the other hand was very unhappy The next morning I went to the facility at 6 30 when the gym is typically empty I explained that the app didn t work and no one answered the phone so I wasn t able to make a reservation Even though the facility was virtually empty the blink employee would not admit me into the facility without a reservation and treated me not like a member but rather like a criminal While they refused me entry to work out they did let me go in to terminate my membership which I did I then walked over to their competitor where I joined and worked out with no hassles Lo and behold ten days later I received an email from blink technical assistance I explained the criminal treatment I received in a reply email and unsurprisingly never heard another word Except for a computer generated survey in which I outlined the unsatisfactory service I received and to which there was no response The moral of the story when it comes to blink customer service you get what you pay for

Horrible
Horrible Horrible stay away from this gym I joined Blink Fitness in 2019 visited the gym few times in the first months and then the pandemic started they kept taking money out of my account even when the gym was closed due to the pandemic I decided to cancelled my membership to stop the billing When business reopened I signed up again but only went once because I noticed that no one at the gym was following protocol imposed by the CDC I let few several month pass to see if the pandemic situation got better but I didn t see much improvement and decided to cancel membership again This time they told me that if I wanted to cancel my membership I would have to pay 50 In the meantime they kept taking money of my account even though I was not using the facility More months passed without me visiting the gym still paying for a membership that I have been trying to terminate A year and a half into my membership paying months after month I noticed that they took 56 99 out of my account for maintenance fee that was when I went to the facility and demanded for them to cancel my membership and refund the maintenance charge They told me that they could cancel my membership but could not refund me the maintenance charge I asked why do I have to pay for that year maintenance if I wasn t going to be using the gym and only one day has passed since the renewal They said that that was their policy and handed me a copy of the contract I never got a copy of the contract even though it says on the enrollment page that I was going to receive on in the mail Since there is no phone number to reach customer care I decided to send them an email explaining the situation but never heard from them I went back to the gym and told them that if they were not going to reimbursed the maintenance fee I wanted to be reinstated at the same membership rate They said no that I would have to pay the new rate as a new member even if my membership was only cancelled the day before This company is a very dishonest and ruthless I rather use other methods to do my exercise but will never join that gym again

Terrible service
Signed up for a membership but cancelled after one day since the gym was overly crowded and the machines were not to my liking I was supposed to get a refund for the membership since I cancelled within the remorse period but I was told my cancellation would only go into effect in more than one month and that I would have to pay for my membership until then

Do NOTTTTTTTT Do it to yourself I promise you will be disappointed It is not worth the experience Not enough equipment The vibes in the locations will not motivate you enough to want to come to the gym THEN When you decide to cancel That GREAT DEAL that you have when you first get the membership turns out to be a whole SET UP They make their profit from those who don t really care about their money s worth gym experience Terrible WATCH OUT PEOPLE

BLINK FITNESS COVID FREEZE PROBLEMS
I joined the gym before covid and I liked it very much However when covid-19 came they made it very difficult to keep membership on FREEZE I am 75 years old and I am vulnerable so I need to shelter in place til fully vaccinated I made many efforts to maintain my freeze and the website kept changing their access I did not want to cancel but it was the only way I could stop billing Which I am still working on

Don t join this gym
Don t join this gym unless you plan on being a member forever I ve tried to opt out since August 2022 as I moved out of the country and have so far paid 158 65 in fees for trying to cancelling my membership I recently visited New York where I went to a Blink fitness to make sure my account was completely closed - here I had to pay another 74 I finally thought I was done paying unreasonable fees for closing my account in a gym that I have tried to opt out of for almost 5 months However Blink keeps charging me 14 each month now - for what I don t know - and it is impossible to get in contact with their support Be prepared to pay a fortune if you ever want to cancel your membership here

Daylight robbery - Truly dissapointing experience with
Truly dissapointing experience with this gym I cant believe at one point I was so eager to join Now that I canceled they are reporting me for owing a balance Worse part is when I canceled I did that in the gym I paid the amount owed They didn t send any records to their corporate office to close Just horrible experience and everyone including the gym operators are playing victim If i could give 0star I would

Parsippany Manager
Parsippany New Jersey Evan the manager is the worst and lets his gym friends take over multiple machines and weights at the same time You will never get a decent workout I have never witnessed a more rude inexperienced and unprofessional manager They need to fire him If you complain he either ignores you or has something sarcastic to say I canceled my membership and am much happier at another gym Stay away from this place

BLINK FITNESS UNETHICAL SHENANIGANS REFUSING TO CEASE USING MY DEBIT CARD AS PAYMENT METHOD FOR EX FRIEND
In June 2023 I signed up a friend to an annual Blink Fitness membership at Blink Jackson Heights 78-14 Roosevelt Avenue Queens NY 11372 using my debit card as payment method for 29 monthly installments Around August 2023 I terminated the friendship and contacted Blink Fitness to request that my debit card no longer be charged for the membership I was asked for my friend s e-mail and I explained that she and I are no longer communicating and I don t know her email but I provided her full name I was told that nothing could be done that the subscription will remain active I questioned how can they continue the membership when the money is coming out of my debit card and I provided the previous two payment transactions to no avail Since August 2023 thru January 2024 Blink Fitness has been stealing 29 per month from my debit card despite my deman that N A link Fitness remove my debit card as payment method from the person s membership Blink Fitness is intentionally engaging in unethical business practices and I recommend that anyone who intends to enroll in a link Fitness you inquire about cancellation policy and all other relevant scenario I had to go to my bank and request a new Debit Card to put a cease to these thieves
