The despatch times were totally off It was twice as long as advertised Furthermore the book was packed with little care and came dog eared

Prompt delivery of a late order for Christmas of two of the three books I wanted to give But the third - out of print - was not included I have had no communication of when it might be delivered

I mistakenly placed an order thinking this was an online aggregator for independent bookstores I had been in contact with a specific bookstore and had asked for a signed copy of a specific book I contacted both the bookstore and Bookshop org merely 4 minutes after the purchase to confirm that everything was alright and was quickly informed of the mistake As the books ordered through Bookshop org will not come from the bookstore s own stock it is impossible to have the signed copy This is all well and fine the problem is that Bookshop org now refuses to cancel the order even though it is virtually impossible that the books are being prepared for shipping 4 minutes after a purchase I am now responsible for paying shipping costs back and forth for an order that should have swiftly been cancelled This is very annoying and honestly kind of ruining what should have been a fairly exciting literary experience

Sadly on two occasions in less than two weeks I have ordered books which are stated as being available only to be told two days after the order they are not available I wasn t even told that they would be available in the future I subsequently ordered them both from Amazon and they arrived in two days Sad because I wanted to support the little guy for once

Bookshop org are unable to offer any kind of secure delivery service regardless of order value My first order was dumped at the side of a public road by Royal Mail I see no reason to place any further orders with the company

Having pain for first class delivery the book did not arrive for around 5-6 days When I tracked it I noted the book was not actually given to the Post Office for three days which surprised me 27 3 23 Thanks for responding so quickly team having read your explaination this makes complete sense I had not appreciated the book was out of stock for 3 days kind regards Andrew

More communication would be good One of the books so ordered showed in stock on website and on initial invoice but was not delivered with others and on the website now shows as I definately out of stock In this circumstance would expect an email asking about it rather than having to do detective work and chase

Because I needed to change my card details I assumed my purchasing process would be null and void so I went back to the beginning and went though the steps again and entered my new card details Imagine my surprise when I received two separate emails two order numbers two payments taken out of my account and two copies of the book through my letterbox I have chosen not to return one of the copies because I have found someone to pass it on to But I cannot imagine how this can occur

One item on my order has not been received after 7 days with no updates at all This item is a Christmas present so very important and no good if late Not impressed with your customer support You are going to have to work a lot harder than this to compete with Amazon

Part of my gifts failed to arrive I got a message saying I was out But I wasn t out I was on the alert l by the front door The book that s missing is the biography of Lady Falkender which was destined for my husband I ve still got him a pair of slippersox but we re missing Lady Falkender Best Henrietta
