Prompt delivery perfect condition

Prompt delivery books arrived in perfect condition Good range of books to choose from Great to be able to support independent bookshops when I haven t been well enough to go shopping in person Only 4 stars because of website Browse and search functions not so easy to use - would be great not to have to keep scrolling past the same recommendations

Despatched quickly arrived safely

Despatched quickly and arrived in pristine condition so very happy with that Delivery by the Post Office was less positive kept telling me the parcel was coming with various dates and times but it did eventually arrive some three days late Maybe my expectations of the PO service need to be downgraded

Efficient service

Efficient service book delivered as a present to a friend within days Particularly pleased because an earlier order could not be fulfilled for reasons unclear For this order I received a refund almost immediately so no real grumbles

Solid unflashy service

It is possible that next day service from that other bookseller has spoiled me and so I did find having to wait a little frustrating BUT the book I ordered turned up in good condition in reasonable time I will certainly be using them again and if that happens to help some smaller sellers going then that s a bonus

Older than me

I believe this company is older than me They were selling books when dinosaurs still roamed the earth The service you will get here is at the highest level So is the collection of books they have However they might not have the latest releases and probably it is connected with some publisher rights or similar Anyways they have regular promotions and I usually pick my books from those promotions and save a lot

Good search facility on website pricing and delivery costs clearly mentioned Dropped a star because of faffing with national book token Not clear at first that the book token had been accepted and credited

Great quick delivery with good communication Sadly both my books were a bit squished in the box which came damaged in the post this didn t effect the books that was more corners peeling up from the way they were packed very minor damage Just being pernickity

Almost perfect

Books arrived very quickly just as ordered Slight hiccup in the process at checkout which left s bit of confusion but it all turned out alright in the end Very happy to be supporting the few remaining independent bookshops we have

Magnificent choice of books and very reasonable prices Really good to be buying from a British organisation that supports physical book shops rather than enriching Amazon Delivery not the fastest but good enough
