Wow incredible experience
Over the past four decades I have bought countless cars mostly new ones and have helped others do the same Although I have used the same tried and true purchasing methods that the guys on the Caredge YouTube channel recommend it was the data that I was able to get through Caredge that gave me specific information as to how many days the dealer had the two vehicles in inventory that I was interested in This information emboldened me to demand a better deal then I would have probably previously agreed to minimally I saved 1200 00 to 1 500 00 on my new car Additionally instead of relying on the often wildly inaccurate free resources available online that estimate your trade-in value I was able to pull the black book value the real value that is updated in the current market The the same values the dealers use available in seconds for a few bucks on Caredge data At this very moment many manufacturers and dealers are flush with inventory yet still demanding MSRP and even some adding nonsensical markups Knowledge is power and the knowledge I was armed with through what I learned on Caredge helped me get the car I wanted at a deep discount from a dealer who was willing to cut his losses and accept my offer I wanted an extended service plan with covered everything but sceduled maintenance and normal wear items Cars these days are far more complex and I was worried about potential expensive repairs after the manufacturers warranty expired The Dealer offered me a great plan 8 years 120 000 miles problem was they wanted 3 500 On Caredge I was offered an extended plan for the same term but tailored to the mileage I might actually use and was quoted a fraction of what the dealer wanted I was able to research the actual provider preview the terms of the contract and had I not been in a rush I could have completed the whole process online but ran into a hiccup with what turned out to be largely of my own doing and I emailed Caredge support with a strongly worded email To say they sent the cavalry would be an understatement Within minutes I had a phone call from the very top person in the company the owner in fact the same one on every single YouTube video Caredge puts out daily with industry news Not only did he set me on the correct course he followed up all day long and I also ended up with a 200 discount I didn t even know about and ended up paying less than I originally thought My extended service contract is bought and now printed and sitting safely in the glove box of my new car I took delivery of today I don t understand some of the negative reviews here I think of myself as a decent negotiator but again knowledge is power and today s car market is unlike any we ve ever seen before In my opinion anyone who is looking for a new car can benefit from their YouTube channel or their website whether they buy a subscription or not As for me I ll continue to support them I truly believe that they are the real deal and yes they are running a business but their business model is about helping the consumer Never in my life have I seen an owner of a company this large jump into action so fast the moment he thought somebody was dissatisfied The thing that probably surprised me the most is that when he called me it was in response to my email address not my wife s so he had no idea if I was a paid subscriber or just a user of the free services that Caredge offers his level of concern and the action he took then and his follow up was off the chart It is something you rarely see these days Thanks Ray and especially thank you Zach You really exceeded my expectations My wife and I are grateful and are happy campers

Outstanding service
Outstanding service I m 60 and have done many car deals over the years and just hate the dealership negotiation games I wanted to trade-in my 2007 Tacoma TRD for a new 2024 Tacoma TRD So I decided to give the CarEdge concierge service a try Here was my events timeline 1 Thursday evening I sign up for CarEdge and set the introductory call with my concierge Dee for Friday midday 2 Friday noon Dee and I get on a video call He explains the steps and the process and I give him the vehicle spec and options I want 3 Friday evening Dee emails me 5 vehicles to review I send him feedback 4 Saturday morning Dee sends me 2 more vehicles to review and we chat via phone deciding to negotiate on two vehicles 5 Saturday early afternoon Dee emails me the negotiated OTD price on the two vehicles and we have a quick call to discuss and decide upon which to buy Then Dee goes to work with the dealership negotiating my trade-in An hour later the dealership manager calls me to have me walk him around my truck and we agree on the KBB top end trade-in price Dee reconfirms the NET OTD with trade-in with the dealership and we are all set 6 Monday AM we head to the bank for a cashier s check then drive to the dealership Upon arriving at the dealership they confirm my truck 10 minutes and I inspect the 2024 Once complete I handed the salesman the cashier s check and were whisked off to the finance office We declined all the extra s and the OTD perfectly matched my net trade-in cashier s check 7 After a brief 90 minutes at the dealership and NO haggling we drove off with our new Tacoma TRD Offroad 8 Price 1 870 BELOW window sticker so with this dealers normal fees a TOTAL SAVINGS of 3 320 on a vehicle that is rarely discounted So the CarEdge concierge fee was well worth the money Outstanding

I paid 99 for a month
I paid 99 for a month That seems like a lot when you are scrambling for a car Honestly there s a chance I could have just used the you tube videos But it gave me a confidence I sent a handful of questions via their chat function and I probably would have used them to review my out the door cost However I think the confidence i learned showed through and I got a great deal I walked the walk and they just cut the BS and got the deal done Once I used them the whole process was very predictable and easy

Started out great garbage now
Started out great now typical scumbags When they first debuted their program you could talk to an advisor any day All of the initial benefits were great They re-branded because they couldn t handle the work load and don t want to pay for more agents so instead they just limited it to a short time slot on 1 day a week SERIOUSLY wow No words That s how they got out of literally ripping people off and changing their terms after they signed you up on other terms Scumbags and liars Good videos but now it s all about the money I guess the sleazy car salesman never left

Car dealers and manufacturers
I like Ray and Zack Over the past say 3 years they never attempted to get interviews from either car dealers or manufacturers about why they were gouging consumers everyday with adjusted market prices add ons and all the other negative practices They just never confronted those people

Looks like to me they are more for the dealer than the buyer a lot of what they say about a lease is not correct if the owner has been a car dealer for over 40 years he knows better unless he sold cars on the moon It is totally not accurate that if you move out of state you must return the leased vehicle to the original dealership totally false you can return an end of lease to any dealer that offers that make of car As far as an accident the lessor is responsible is also not accurate that s why you have Gap insurance which is included in the monthly payments It seems like they want you to purchase rather than lease so you get screwed two times rather than one time As far as end of lease you can purchase the vehicle for a reduced rate is also not accurate it depends on the market and 99 times out of 100 it s more like retail The saying is how do you know when a car dealer is lying When there Lips move you can t change the stripes on a tiger so for over 40 years he has been lying to the public so now all of a sudden he for the buyer
