Honestly not a big fan of the wine and calling up to cancel the subscription is long however the customer service is really good and the staff seemed friendly

This is a really cool way to try new wines without having to commit to a whole bottle in case it s not for you The wee bottles the wine arrives in are ridiculously cute too Highly recommend

Great idea with the packaging love the size of bottles and the wax seals unfortunately I didn t love the wine enough to pay 35 a month Phoned was on hold 2 minutes and really polite customer service cancelled for me no questions asked I would go back to them if cheaper

Great wines but just too expensive

Signed up for a free trial the wines were lovely and packaging really nice The only problem for me was price 35 for 6 1 4 bottles of wine is excessive In terms of cancelling you do have to call which is frustrating but I was only on hold for 8 minutes and it was really easy Also when trying to order full bottles there was a lot of limitations where stock wasn t available So think if the pricing was restructured and you could cancel easily online then it d be a great subscription

First box was excellent second box was terrible However I received a full refund

First box was excellent Then the April box didn t arrive They sent two boxes in May Reds from both boxes were fizzy Three whites were like vinegar Wife felt ill after having a bottle that apparently tasted ok I didn t try it I then had a bottle which again tasted ok but felt sick afterwards and hence this review I don t normally post bad reviews but something s not right No response to my previous web form completion to request a replacement box so I cancelled Such a shame - a great idea poorly executed In response to this review I was kindly contacted by the owner by email He apologised and explained why the wine arrived in poor condition He provided a full refund This excellent customer service bumped my rating from a one star to a four star review

Difficult experience but in the end good

After having a difficult experience cancelling the service you re best contacting them via social media I found cellar rats to be a superb experience with a nice amount of surprise and well thought out product design The wines arrived with information about their origin body e t c and arrive in genuinely good quality The company has done itself a disservice by over promising a little bit in their promotions But I hope one day this company that offers a genuinely good product service recovers from the current low review score I d feel more inclined to stay with cellar rats if the subscription cancellation process were less tricky
