They are close to getting a 1-star review but to be fair I did get my tickets and they gave me the cheapest price The reason for the 2 stars is because the service is incredibly poor It s not a scam but it does make you question in times if it s worth paying a tiny bit more with a company with decent customer service The explanation is below if you re interested I booked a flight back in September The whole process was quite weird Kevin was the name they used to help me but I m sure I spoke to at least 3 different people I have to start by saying I do have my tickets so it s not a scam however they are absolutely useless and make the process so painful and stressful My family and I booked 4 tickets overall They were done as 2 separate bookings with about 4 hours difference between them Booking 1 was for person A and B booking 2 was for person C and D I m not going to go into detail of how painful the process was because it will take me a few paragraphs It took them a few days to send the e-tickets I was on the phone to them pretty much every day trying to understand what was happening Eventually I was sent the e-tickets for one of the bookings however they got everything mixed up and send me tickets for person A and C even though they were not in the same booking Later on the same day they sent me the e-tickets for person B and D All very weird as the bookings could have been for people that didn t know each other Luckily we re all family so we decided to ignore that A few months later just a couple of weeks ahead of the flight we decided to check on the airline all the information and we ve just realised they have put all of our dates of birth wrong I rang them to ask for help but instead I received an annoyed employee telling me I had to do it myself It s all sorted now but the service is terrible

A reservation that didn t materialise into a booking after just under 24 hours of waiting for a response Whilst the agent Raymond was clear and polite the company could not deliver the particular flight I needed and I m left out of pocket whilst they process a refund The process needs a rethink Personally I wouldn t use the company again especially if I was tight for time for the risk of potential disappointment

TLDR I booked air tickets from London to Panama with Checknfly It was a very unpleasant experience and I didn t end up with the flights I originally booked When you pay money to Checknfly you are not actually booking tickets You are giving money to Checknfly so they can book tickets on your behalf and if they want to they can change your tickets and you have very limited power to stop them Complete story Originally I booked tickets on the website via Washington DC and paid my money Shortly afterwards I received a phone call from somebody who called themselves Chris Grey saying they were calling from Checknfly This had all the hallmarks of a scam call so I was initially very wary The person who called himself Chris then proceeded to pressure me into accepting an alternative outbound flight via Los Angeles instead This flight is scheduled to depart London an hour earlier and land in Panama 20 minutes later with a much shorter layover As Checknfly already had my money but I didn t have my flight tickets I already felt pressured into agreeing as there was a chance I would end up with no tickets at all and my money gone This combined with the pressure from Chris over the phone meant I agreed Chris then sent me an email with the new flight details and immediately called me back within 20 seconds of me receiving the email pressuring me to reply to his email and agree in writing to these new flights I really didn t have any time to think about whether I actually wanted this change and it was late at night and I was tired I felt I had no choice as they already had my money so I did as Chris was pressuring me to do and replied and confirmed whilst Chris was still on the phone He then said I would receive the actual confirmation of my flights within the next 24 hours which I did Chris then phoned me to tell me that my flights were confirmed At the same time he then pressured me into writing this feedback Originally Chris wanted to do it whilst he was on the phone but I was fed up wth the pressure and said I would do it the next day Overall the process made me feel very uncomfortable pressured and wary and left me on edge However after checking on the airline website I seem to have ended up with valid tickets

I have booked with this company twice They had very cheap deals However each time after I paid for my flight and received a booking confirmation I was called by them and told that the airline has changed my flight I was offered a different slightly later flight between the same two destinations I would guess that this is a scam on their part - they re trying to get you to accept a lower priced ticket than the one you ve paid for in order to increase their profits My experience is that if you insist that you want the flight that you have actually bought they will somehow find a way to provide this for you suprise surprise

Flight is booked but they wrote my name incorrectly on the ticket They are refusing to correct it and have been ignoring my emails asking them to do so

Asking for more money once we ve already purchased a flight is ridiculous and we will not book through you again Luckily I spoke to Brad and he was very kind and helpful and helped us get a full refund so we can book the flight through a different website

Following my last review a lady from Checknfly called me back telling me the information Chris told me was incorrect He said I needed to pay an extra 42 in order to confirm my booking because my seats were not reserved or something to that effect Now apparently there was no need to pay that money The seats and luggage allowance were booked The extra fee was for a Flexifare ticket but Chris did not make that clear at all and I personally had no desire to upgrade So he did indeed trick me into paying more money than was necessary Checknfly offered to refund the 42 But this has not happened yet I have my e-ticket now God willing it s legitimate but this is the dodgiest and most deceitful behaviour I ve ever had with an booking service

Misleading information on website Finnair flights advertised for 535 but seats and booking not confirmed so I had to pay 42 extra for American Airline flights at the very same times Why were the airline names different in the first place Is this a lie I do not trust this service or any employees including Chris Grey who negotiated this with me and who clearly does not have this name If I m not scammed and end up actually taking these flights I ll be happy and relieved Otherwise I will report them

Called me 3 times to ask me to leave a 5 star review Texted the customer support when I couldn t check in online they barely speak English instead of contacting the airline told me to try my luck at the airport check in didn t even know if I was actually properly booked until the very last moment i did however successfully got onboard

Tried To pull classic Bait n Switch Browsed across from KAYAK they wereShowing a price for an economy flight LHR to Japan one price then while I was already in the payment screen they began messaging on WhatsApp saying the flights weren t available and asking for another 116 for each passenger
