Ego will make them file for bankruptcy at the next market crash soon
I placed an order that was confirmed and paid Then 3 5 days later they cancelled it without any explanation just a rude email We canceled your order They never tried to call me email me or anything I don t care about the price of the order but I do care about wasting my time and not even being provided justification for this waste It s just insulting I called them wasted another 10-15 minutes for them to pick up the phone and finally had an explanation Their fraud team estimated that my order was fraudulent Why I have no idea they didn t say and didn t even try to ask me to justify anything I think a lot of independent stores get overly comfortable over time especially after a high year of 2020 in bike sales which is just a temporarily spike as a reaction of COVID19 before the inevitable decline next year and the more comfortable they get the less they respect customers This is how Amazon keeps growing and these stores end up filing for bankruptcy at the first market crash At the core it s about ego on the long run their ego will make them broke At the end of the day if you still want to be around after the next crash you have to respect your customers When I shop on Amazon it s one click pain-free no fraud BS from small thinking and their level of customer service is making Competitive Cyclist and others completely noncompetitive They will say it was monopoly that killed them but that s a lie it s how customers are treated Just like more and more shoppers I decided I will only order on Amazon from now on I m tired of these disrespectful and entitled independent stores Is basic respect too much to ask

After spending approximately 12k and very happy initially with my purchase I soon found out that they are only concerned about a sale I had a saddle right at the yr mark but this one I recently put on my ride It separated at the joint and ultimately snapped I tried to work with the shop but told I could get a discount on a new saddle Knowing Selle and coming from the industry in the past they would of exchanged it They are that good of a company These guys could care less Don t spend your money here They only want to take it

I placed a order through Amazon on a item for sale They blamed Amazon for not updating to notify me it was out of stock I called them and got nothing but one excuse after another on while they can t just wait till the product was in stock I told them I would wait till the product was back in stock and they said Amazon would not allow this I told them to hold on to the order for a day while I contacted Amazon Instead of listening to me and working with me they just canceled my order against my wish Completely unprofessional and unacceptable I contacted Amazon to try and resolve it but since they canceled the way they did there was nothing they could do This was my first purchase with this company and I am very let down

Disappointed I ve been a customer of Competitive Cyclist for a long time I participated in a Strava challenge that was promoted by Competitive Cyclist Ride 13 hours before 10 31 21 and get a promo code for 20 off an eligible full price item I went to website and tried to order a Feedback Torque Wrench Would not apply my coupon but at the same time the website said my coupon had already been applied when I tried a second time Turns out the Feedback torque wrench is not an eligible item Nailed by the fine print Why is it not an eligible item And why does the website say my coupon has been applied already when it hasn t Very frustrating that if I now want to use the coupon I have to call to get it applied Aargh

Incompetent Cyclist
I am writing this while still on hold again I placed an order hours ago and also sent an email to sales to make sure this is not shipped usps I do not have usps home delivery I then phoned talked to an actual person and explained the same This person verified it would ship UPS Later the same day I now have a usps tracking number I have now spoken with 2 individuals spent much time on hold whom cannot solve this issue in a timely manner I will definitely shop elsewhere with a reputable seller They get 1 star for doing so well at doing so bad

I wanted to give fewer stars
I wanted to give fewer stars They are terrible and the customer service is even worst My order took for ever and they gave me the wrong shipping numbers When I contacted them they gave me one of the numbers correctly but not the two others bikes come in three boxes When I got my order they shipped two left knee pads its over two weeks trying to resolve this
