Held my parcel to ransom
Held my parcel to ransom I sent some Christmas cards and some plastic flowers my children had made for gifts to family in Portugal Got a message from CTT saying that there was something wrong with Royal Mail customs declaration I had filled out so they wouldn t delivery my parcel I still have no idea what was wrong as they won t tell me despite me repeatedly asking them My family never got the parcel and they haven t sent it back to me either

I am disappointed with the service
I am disappointed with the service The website doesn t function properly making it impossible to change the details or delivery date for the package The courier didn t notify me of any delivery issues and sent the package to the other side of the city two hours away from where I live even though there are much closer pickup points I ve spent half the day on the road just to retrieve my package This is terrible

CTT lost my shipment in Lisbon mail sorting center but they are searching for it in Australia CTT also returns shipments to the sender without any reason We will vote for another company to handle CTT service or even to deprivatize it

I was sent a message my parcel was out for delivery I waited all day then received a message stating it couldn t be delivered This happened 3 times Three days of waiting at home Checked delivery status and it was still at the centre in Guia I live in Lagos

Rubbish company
Rubbish company doing a lot of mistakes in the customs I have a parcel sent to my mother-in-law which is a gift and they are claiming it is a commercial parcel They put sender address of dpd and not my personal address that the parcel was sent from Now they are asking for a proof of purchase Honestly how am I supposed to give a proof of purchase of the handmade gift Good question Avoid it at all costs not worth the time and patience I agree with all the reviews below Our wedding invitations just disappeared Do not risk it

CTT sent my parcel to a wrong country
CTT has sent my insured parcel to the wrong country where it has disappeared and was lost I did receive an insurance claim compensation but the irreplaceable contents of the shipment was lost

Only brainless fools would recommend this company Made me wait whole day informing it can come anytime until 19 hr but atleast found I was absent to pick it up when they were out there in the day time in delivery status Liars and incompetent

Incredibly slow
Incredibly slow incompetent and rarely able to do anything right Zero care for customers and no attempt at all to do any better Forever waiting times that s if they even manage to not lose your packages Even within same country they can t move anything at a decent pace only reason they are so bad is because they don t have large enough competition so they don t feel the need to do better at all since there s barely any other choice

CTT is probably the worst delivery
CTT is probably the worst delivery company in the world I have lived all over the world and never experienced such a low value service Ordered several items on Amazon I work remotely so I am always home during the day yet the delivery guy never even rings at my apartment It never gets delivered I only get the the notifications all the time that the parcels could not be delivered Incredible super frustrating Hope you don t need to use CTT

One of Europe s most backward postal services
This must be one of Europe s most backward universal postal service providers Where other countries have made it possible to print electronic stamps at home so you don t need to keep a stock of old-fashioned stamps or go to the post office just to post a rare letter there is no such feature on offer in Portugal They don t know what digital service is yet If you do go to the post office expect to wait 30-40 minutes before being served Ermesinde Valongo Porto Too much staff spend their time in the back office instead of helping customers who clearly don t matter Most letterboxes in the street have been removed It s getting increasingly hard to find a place to post one of the few letters still required
