Perfect Trip to Cuba

Teresa planned an absolutely incredible trip for us I am Cuban and never thought I would visit Cuba Teresa was able to relate to me and my concerns about the trip She gave me a great deal of comfort based upon her own personal knowledge and experience She was also very patient and accessible throughout this entire process She spoke to me on the phone for hours to get to know me personally and to listen to the places I wanted to visit Teresa gave her suggestions and was readily willing to adjust our itinerary to the requests I made After doing further research we decided to proceed with the planned itinerary We are so happy we did - our trip was perfect We stayed at a wonderful Bed and Breakfast that was perfect for us and the experience we wanted to have Our guide Laura was wonderful She was very knowledgeable about Cuba its history and all of the places to visit even the ones that didn t fit into our schedule Laura adapted the plans throughout our trip based upon the weather and availability of the tours As a result of Laura s knowledge effort and her ability to adjust our schedule our experience was incredible Laura also made sure we had the best possible guides who were very knowledgeable of the specific areas we visited Laura is very friendly and has a great sense of humor She is a wealth of knowledge on the history of Cuba and all the places we visited She made this trip an incredible experience for us We had such a great time that we are already planning our next trip

Above and Beyond Great service

I recently took a group of 12 to Cuba and the experience with CIT was beyond amazing From the first phone call with Teresa I knew I had found the right tour operator She answered all of my questions attended zoom calls with my travelers and touched base via text and email from the time I booked until after we traveled Our guide was Ebony and she effortlessly managed our tour and all of its logistics She even worked with me on adding additional stops and sites By the end of our tour everyone had established a bond with her and felt like they were leaving a friend I ve been so impressed with CIT that I have two more tour groups scheduled for this year and I m happy to work with Teresa and Ebony again and again

We just returned from a great trip to Cuba with CIT The guide Fernando was informative and spoke English well The drivers were all great and we felt safe The Grand Packard hotel was truly a 21 century hotel quite luxurious and comfortable The tours were all interesting and a pleasure The restaurants we went to were all great This was an excellent trip and we highly recommend it

Best Cuba trip

I had the most amazing experience in Cuba thanks to the kindness and help of Teresa with organizing our trip She made it so simple and I didn t have to worry about any details Once arriving in Cuba Laura met us at the airport She was with us the whole way and gave us a once in a lifetime experience that i don t think we could have had with anyone else I 100 recommend this company and especially Teresa and Laura

if you want to visit Cuba from the US you need to have the right guide It is a foreign place in every sense of the word Our family cannot imagine having visited Cuba without the aid of Cultural Island Travel Our tour guide Irmita was incomparable She was smart knowledgeable incredibly caring and highly professional She and our driver Julio who was amazingly patient enabled us to get to know the Cuban people and their culture Our family us and our two grown sons loved the experience even though we saw both Cuba s sources of challenge as well as pride Teresa from Cultural Island travel was a dream to work with She was intelligent detail-oriented thorough and highly responsive She listened well to our requests and translated them into action While Cuba may not have been the obvious choice for many of our US friends we returned home and told them it was a life changing experience in a very positive way The spirit of the Cuban people is inspirational Bravo Cultural Island Travel

Life changing experience

My husband and I had a life changing experience in Cuba thanks to Cultural Island Travel Teresa Sanchez and our incredible guide Irma Irma not only showed us Cuba and it s people she told us who the people are Irma has a wealth of knowledge that she is eager to share and never minded answering my many many questions Our stay at the hotel was fantastic the food there was fantastic and the staff was more than fantastic The people Cuba are the most friendly and gracious you will ever meet Visit Cuba you will not regret it

We just returned from an unforgettable four days in Havana all expertly curated by Cultural Island Travel Teresa got to know us to understand our travel style and preferences and she answered our endless questions right up until departure date In Cuba our wonderful guide Patricia and driver Yordan took excellent care of us They were flexible and fun seamlessly updating our schedule and activities throughout the week when necessary Everything was done at our pace and on our timeline Patricia is beyond knowledgeable and connected making us feel like special guests everywhere we went The same can be said for all of the amazing and warm people we met - from our hotel hosts staff to our historian photographer resident artist cigar expert and tobacco farmers Our only job was to relax enjoy and immerse ourselves in the beautiful city of Havana The trip exceeded all expectations from beginning to end 100 stars

I had the birthday of a lifetime in Cuba and Cultural Island Travel made it a great experience for me Travelling alone can be a bit intimidating especially as I was turning 60 years old on this trip but I felt totally safe and confident in my guides I love the Cuban people and love the country I will be there again soon
