Will not use again

If you re buying something special for a loved one DON T rely on Danbury Mint to send it on time My husband who is disabled and cannot go out shopping has ordered twice from DM both times they have caused him extreme anxiety DM are quick to take your order but take too long to deliver My husband ordered a necklace on the 10th August it arrived a week before Christmas not good enough Very poor communication no apology for the anxiety caused will not use again

Cheeky buggers

I decided to buy the first ever king Charles 50p coin from these as I figured it would be worth something one day in the future Payment debited order received no problem - however recently I received a gandelph 50p coin in the post which I hadn t ordered then when I checked my bank balance 27 had been charged on my debit card I allowed this as a one off as I received the coin a day after the actor died thought it was a strange coincidence However in the last 24hrs I ve received more emails from Danbury mint and evri saying my next order has shipped - which I haven t also ordered Why can I not login to their website to stop this When I try login with my email address is it says my email address is not recognised with them - well you keep send me emails Just stop it

50 pence piece

I ve just seen an ad on the back of a magazine offering 50p with King Charles on for 9-95 Claiming never to be minted again yet I got one in my loose change months ago How can you justify charging 9-95 when these coins would appear to be in general circulation

Danbury Mint awful service

The worst service from a retsiler I have ever experienced Bought twice from them I should have learned from the first experience and both times have been abysmal First time an expensive necklace took over a month to arrive Lame excuses the most laughable is they have to allow the Royal Msil 10 to 14 days to deliver Contacted Royal Mail who responded that is completely untrue and rubbish They claimed they have had numerous complaints about Danbury Mint blaming them for poor delivrries The second purchse of a bracelet had still not arrived after 13 days Agsin they blame it on Royal Mail Again the Royal Mail refute these claims which I believe They provide an awful service beware don t use them

Scam

What a load of utter rubbish merchandise scamming an old man with their pushy sales my dad thought he was leaving us a wonderful inheritance all it has left my dad is an empty bank balance and suitcases for of trash that s not worth a hit Disgusting company feel sorry for all caught up in this scam Only gave them a 1 as zero was not an option

Not impressed

Purchased a necklace for 149 00 Postage was an additional 7 80 which I thought was excessive considering the weight and packaging used Phoned seven days ago as the prepaid returns label via Royal Mail wasn t available I was told there was a problem with the system and they would send one in the post No label arrived but an invoice for 156 80 did arrive requesting payment I had paid for the necklace in full at the time of ordering I made another call and was told a label had been sent out Still no sign of it so tomorrow I shall be sending the necklace back at my own expense My reason for returning is because the necklace is vastly overpriced and just not worth the money

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs my late mother got suckered in by them probably spent hundreds of pounds over the years on the occasional nice item but a lot of rubbish as well all at inflated prices She left some items to her grandchildren but I am almost too embarrassed to pass them on Keep an eye on your elderly relatives

Avoid - complete and utter scam beware

Complete and utter scam Ordered ONE coin a few months later I get a delivery note indicating my next order had been dispatched and my account was charged 32 90 Rang up customer services immediately Tried to tell me I d bought a subscription when I obviously had not No letters emails anything saying that Customer services rep was rude and entirely unhelpful and refused to process a refund unless management had authorised it Spoke to management and they kicked off all the same Pathetic Have had to go down the route of cancelling the transaction with my bank Completely and utterly illegal brazen conmen Immoral idiotic stupid company Avoid avoid avoid

This company is appalling I received a piece of JUNK mail from Danbury Mint addressed to my deceased father with a picture of an engraved pendant addressed to my deceased mother seemingly from my father It was hard for me to find the words to relay the sickness in my stomach when I realized this was a mass mailer sent to everyone with their personal information If my father was alive do you think he would want this random low-life company DANBURY MINT sending something so personal with his deceased wife s name on it Now as his daughter who has lost both her parents I am reminded yet again of their absence this Holiday season I beg you not to purchase a gift from them this holiday season - or ever

disappointing blue topaz earrings

I was very disappointed with my purchase of blue topaz earrings and because I opened package couldn t return knew they wouldn t be as advertised picture showed BUT the clasp was so tiny fine and very flimsy difficult to handle and insert into ear couldn t get them to clasp together ended up with sore ears Now I m stuck with them Not the usual Danbury Mint standard would NOT recommend that product
