I bought a RPLIDAR A1M8 they sent me
I bought a RPLIDAR A1M8 they sent me very different one it has green pcb without any markings can not figure out which is which if you want to connect directly to a microcontroller the connectors are also smaller which won t fit if your robot has already one according to the original model usb to serial board has different connector as well without any markings again i requested return but no response at all i hope they will respond me after this review

What an awful website
What an awful website I m logged in I can see my name in the top right I can see my account details Yet I add an item to the cart checkout and then I m asked for my contact and shipping details which I already entered when I registered I enter my email and it says my email is in use and to log in but I already am logged in Tried Firefox and Edge and same issue on both browsers Also the general website layout and filtering options are absolutely poor Large catalogue but browsing it if you re not looking for a specific model is painful

Tried to order an item they had 37 of we needed 24 theycancelled my order even though we had paid in full Reason due to Digi-Keys internal policies we are unable to supply you with this item great customer service Guys

Truly shocking
Truly shocking Needed these parts urgently and noticed they hadn t shipped so contacted live chat who said there was no issue and would be shipped today Following day still not despatched so called up Then it got really weird The woman on customer support told me she needed my website address which I gave her so she googles us and starts asking my what I need the products for we are a UK company Digi-key are US only despite what their website suggests She then starting trying to find out who our customer is that will be using the product and my assurances that our customer is a UK company weren t enough Tried to make out it was something to do with US government export controls Ended up having an argument with her over whether we were a distributor or a manufacturer we do both - totally surreal She wasn t able to tell me why customer support had told me the previous day there was no problem with the websiteI gave up in the end

Excellent service
Was at first cautious about buying from these as they ship from the USA but I cannot fault them DDP delivery has made it a dream Postage from the USA is 2 days which is amazing Packaged extremely well including all electrically sensitive components being put into static free protective bags Everything inside labelled Can t fault at all will certainly be buying again from them when I need more components
