Cannot cancel my home insuranceI am unable to cancel my home insurance before the due date of 1 year There is nothing binding written in the policy It says it can be cancelled any time but they dont accept to cancel it before the due date So terribly missleading company terrible customer service

Worst customer service ever Blackmailing with higher premium
As someone with a foreign EU driving license generally the insurance companies selling car insurances want a copy to get the date that I got my driving license They never asked I reminded them myself asking for a secure way to upload it to them and that I preferred not to email The reply was short If I don t want to send it then I will loose the discount and that he who emailed already removed the discount and informed me of the new much higher insurance premium In summary they are blackmailing me to email the copy of my driving license This must go against some Swedish laws in any case human decency and certainly goes against the EU GDPR This is so uncalled for There may be some misunderstanding but still that does not warrant such a reply First chance I get I will leave this insurance company

Avoid This Company They Will Find Any Excuse to Deny Your Claim
Absolutely terrible experience with Dina F rs kringar I had home insurance with extended travel insurance thinking I was covered in case something went wrong Well something did I got sick just before my trip and had to miss two days of my vacation When I filed a claim they refused to cover it Their excuse Since I was supposed to start the trip in my private car but I got sick before actually getting in the car they claimed I never officially started the trip Apparently if my car had broken down they would have covered it but not me the person actually traveling This is beyond ridiculous The whole point of travel insurance is to cover unexpected events but instead they twisted their own rules to avoid paying Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful basically telling me Too bad Stay far away from this company unless you enjoy paying for a policy that won t protect you when you actually need it

Got my money back
I changed my car insurance from Dina to Trygg Hansa and merged it with my home insurance in June 2024 The guy at Trygg Hansa informed me that Dina will get notified and it will be changed automatically I even got a new offer from Dina with lower prices since they knew I changed to a new insurance starting Decmber 1st I still got a charge from Dina f rsakring on Dec02 not with the lower price that they offered but the same price Isn t that ridiculous You re insuring an already insured car and while you send a new offer for the whole next year you still go ahead and charge me the same price and take advantage of the autogiro I need you guys to credit the amount back to me asap cos its become a scam at this point Faraz -----------------UPDATE-------------Hi I might be wrong but I still haven t received my money back that was promised by Dina s customer service I m copy pasting the email right here You might wanna check with Dina so they can start reimbursing the money owed to make your job easier --------------UPDATE-------------------- Thanks for all your help I received the credit back today gota dina se Tue Dec 3 2024 11 42 AMto meHi The insurance is now cancelled from 2024-12-01 We will re-pay you 563 Skr Best regardsAnnika LarssonS ljare Privat
