My experience has been very disappointing frustrating 1 the flat I rented with them was not marketed properly When I moved in I found out that furniture present during my viewing was missing 2 Draker didn t manage the property but they assured me that the landlord was responsive and they had good contact with knew the landlord well Wrong again They can t get hold of the landlord 3 The process of getting out of the deal was painful too All of a sudden everything on my side had to be sorted asap But when I asked something from them they took all the time in the world 4 I have moved out since 1 5 months and I am still waiting on the refund of my deposit

Awful
Awful I recommend you go elsewhere We dealt with the Chelsea office We were required to act promptly and paid a lot of money for a flat We were assured it would be in good order and the issues dealt with promptly The flat manager is the cleaner and doesn t reply nor speak good English We don t have heating and many issues aren t being dealt with We don t even have keys to locks on exterior doors There are lots of issues and we pay over 100 k a year Drakers was aware of previous tenant discontent with flat but did not disclose They respond a and are charming but divest any responsibility and their interest seems only to secure their tenancy fee and not ensure a reasonable property for the tenant We are considering legal action

Dodgy Landlord Dodgy Agent
I rented a flat for my wife and three kids for 8 weeks for 3 500 week The agents and landlord promised to fix the fridge but it took until teh final week to have a working fridge We left the place in exactly the same condition as when we got there but teh landlord wanted to charge us 6 500 Drakers said the landlord had a reputation for doing this but that there was nothing they could do They also advised that they would pay her from the deposit and we would have to take her to court Is the landlord worse or the agent who enables them

The worst agency in London
The worst agency in London and that says a lot They ll stand behind landlords no matter what even at the cost of making their properties unsanitary and uninhabitable

Updated terrible experience with deposit return
UPDATE IN AUGUST 2024 I had left a glowing review of our experience with William finding a last-minute rental in Kensington Then we moved out in June 2024 It is now August and our deposit has not been returned though it s been promised many times It has taken near-daily prodding of William Oli and Ella to get any response at all though it seems no action has been taken We were rushed through the deposit process emphasizing that it was imperative that our funds were transferred in a timely fashion before move-in but the same consideration has not been returned We ve been waiting for thousands of pounds for months

This agency wasted my disabled mother s
This agency wasted my disabled mother s valuable time they said the owner of the property did not wish to rent to us 10 days before we were meant to move in they said we needed more references but did not ask us for more and only used that to in my opinion discriminate against a disabled person Why else would they say no us without trying to resolve the situation They had our deposit and a 6 month in advance rent from us It is sickening that agents are not regulated properly and they can do this to people Landlords take full advantage of tenants and sadly agents do not help I m so saddened that after organising my mother s move we are now left homeless because of an awful landlord and an agency that could have done more but did not

Dishonest - Once the contract is signed they disappear
Once the contract is signed the company completely stops caring about the management of the property We committed to a 5 500-per-month lease in Chelsea expecting to enjoy a premium treatment However within days the situation turned into a nightmare Drakers was fully aware of the flat s pre-existing issues but chose not to disclose them The property began to show numerous problems including a severe leak which made it increasingly uninhabitable Despite repeated complaints Drakers demonstrated no willingness to resolve any of these issues Week after week we received the same empty promises We ll address this immediately Yet their representatives would vanish without resolving anything It has been 10 months and the flat is still uninhabitable The lack of accountability was shocking I would not recommend them if you are looking to rent an expensive flat
