My favorite clothing company As a 3X it s so hard to find high quality clothes that fit me the same way it fits a S size Dressed in Lala does that and does it even better than expected I can t say enough good things about their clothes

I only found lala a few months ago and have been so happy with each piece I get The sweaters are heavy and comfy like a hug from your favorite person You can stand out with the bright colors and patterns Will be purchasing more ASAP

I started buying from Lala last fall and have spent a sizable amount of money on their clothing As time has progressed the issues have become impossible to ignore First and foremost the costs keep rising while the quality is declining The ribbed playsuits pill after only few wears The satin playsuits arrive with loose threads are printed on different quality satins depending what style you buy and are easy to snag Their knits get a pull if you just look at them funny Secondly their customer experience is a joke You can t leave reviews on any Lala products You only have 3 weeks to mail back something you wish to return you have to pay to return the item and they also keep a portion of the cost meaning you don t get a full refund If you email them to show them a product quality issue like an obviously poorly-done screenprint a misprint or a weird fit they tell you it s intentional and makes the piece unique There s a lot of uniqueness with Lala items But a ribbed playsuit having a neckhole that s noticably smaller and stands upright when your other sets all lay flat and look wonderful that s not giving weirdo It s not giving unique It s giving zero QA The wild part is that I was still willing to deal with all of that I was still actively buying from them and planning to buy more for fall But the company s actions of late has made me reconsider Like any other brand with a cult following there are multiple Facebook groups that I was a member of We would share fit pics excitedly discuss new drops and participated in buy sell trade like so many other FB groups These groups had actual Lala models and affiliates in them too Recently an affiliate shared that Lala was discontinuing their affiliate code program and that codes would expire on 9 1 24 Just giving us a head s up to save some money while we still could This news was not only disappointing but I felt like it was a slap in the face to all affiliates that promote Lala so diligently and wholeheartedly I learned about Lala through an affiliate I always use her code so I can support her Naturally some members were upset to learn this Many shared that this turned them off from buying from Lala and that they d stick to buying secondhand or go elsewhere for clothing This got back to the Lala team The next day Lala s legal team got ALL Lala FB groups shut down for trademark infringement even though each group was in good standing per Facebook s rules One of the admin shared receipts and confirmed that s indeed what happened The largest group had over 10 000 members for context If that s how Lex creator of Lala chooses to treat her most loyal customers I think that speaks volumes Discontinuing affiliate codes so you can make an extra 15-20 per item when the quality is FAR from the luxury price point that s being charged is insanely greedy

Company does not live up to their own Mantra
For starters the ship time is awful I ordered something from China days after ordering from lala and it got to me faster They forgot my order and when I emailed them about it stating i wanted to cancel and they apologized and said they were expediting it I told them I no longer needed the items they were for an event long past and wanted to cancel They then stated that because the order was put in for processing which they had literally just done when they expedited it that there was nothing they could do but the good news is much order would ship in 3-5 days Meaning I had to wait another week before they were even dropping it at the carrier Then another week for it to actually arrive because they use DHL in total I waited over a month For spending over 400 I would expect better But if that doesn t turn you off when I actually received my order after a single wear the buttons totally fell off the pants And I couldn t return So quality and service are an issue But if THAT isn t enough to turn you off this company sent their attorneys after fan groups That s right Their cult following had created buy sell trade groups to more easily exchange sizes and pass along peices to other lala lovers Their attorney shut down the groups citing trademark issues No One was claiming to be lala be an affiliate nothing Just people excersizing their right to re-sell something THEY OWN and not even at a profit Usually at a pretty big loss Now I know that sounds super unbelievable Why would a company delete their cult following The groups had cited multiple issues with quality and delivery times and would bring them up to see if others had similar issues Usually it resulted in someone saying hey reach out to customer service The brand didn t like this They don t want people trying to bring things to their attention so they can grow and be better WHICH IS LITERALLY WHAT WE WANTED But no Why listen to your cult followers when you can just silence them An absolutely disgusting greedy business move This brands motto is The World Needs Your Magic but they treat customers the exact opposite It should be LALA needs your MONEY and your SILENCE there is no love in LALA Land

This is the WORST
This is the WORST clothing company I have ever ordered from An Instagram ad popped up 1 000 times with the cutest skirt and top and I finally ordered it Ten days later it had not shipped 15 days later I got an email saying sorry bestie the skirt you ordered is out of stock We refunded your money and we are sending the top What No I ordered an in stock outfit that is now out of stock Don t like that at all I went back and forth with them about not sending the top because I ordered it as an outfit and after 4 more bestie exchanges they sent the top and offered me 10 off a new order How about now it is almost 3 weeks since I placed the order and the top that I WILL be sending back still has not shipped I actually googled to find out if the item s were on a cargo ship and arriving from across the ocean Nope Utah Feeling VERY SCAMMY Buy elsewhere Not a bestie experience bestie If you are gonna run your pricing with the big dogs you are going to have to figure out how to keep up I very much appreciate your response and the action that you took to address my experience I really wish I had the outfit I know it would have been super cute
