NEVER AGAIN WITH ENER

I will NEVER EVER enter into a personal loan agreement with Ener again I seriously regret it They tricked me with fine print in the loan agreement Yes it is my fault for not reading every minute word carefully That said who does And who would knowingly agree to pay 17 99 interest when the project required county approval etc and would naturally take a while to start Naturally I believed that nothing would be charged or accruing until the project was completed and the contractor was paid Indeed the contractor NEVER got paid until the project was completed in 2023 because it was known there would be delays Ener KNEW this as well but when I tried to pay off the entire loan amount a couple of months after the project was completed they said I owed about 1 000 more in interest because they disbursed the funds in 2022 Painful lessons learned Do not agree to that deception by Ener because YOU will be paying for a loan for work that may not begin for a long time

A Cautionary Tale

We had the misfortune of needing to take a loan with EnerBank when our a c went out in July in Texas with two young kids The terms for our loan with EnerBank were not favorable but we were left with little choice A few years later we were not making any real progress on the loan being only able to make minimum payments My wife unfortunately broke her ankle and found out she was pregnant in a short span of time Due to the additional financial hardship I sought out a debt relief program to assist and enrolled my Enerbank loan in the program During the course of the program EnerBank refused to work with the debt relief company threatened legal action against us and forced us to settle for more than the amount I enrolled in the debt relief program through a loan that was a higher interest rate than where we started EnerBank doesn t care about customers at all Any company wording to the contrary is just marketing fluff and outright lies packaged to sell their services Steer clear of having to use their services I am putting this info on every review I can find

I have been trying to make a payment for the last Two weeks each time I call I am told wait time is 30-45 minutes each time but they have time to call about a payment reminder CUSTOMER SERVICE is nothing short of TERRIBLE trying to pay on line is even worst EnerBank USA needs to get their act together long story short EnerBank USA needs to get their act together

Too bad I can t give negative stars this bank is in kahoots with solar scams they funded my solar loanbefore it was finished with a contractor soon to go out of bus after 2 years with one unfinishedproject they coming for their The contractor tricked me into sign a by-phone contract to later advance the signed contract by 40 days luckily I never erase my messages and I can prove that I am taking them to court Wish me luck peeps we can all start a class action suit They don t want to answer my lawyers letters for now but theygoing to have to soon

This bank is a total scam This bank is a total scam they are absolute greedy interest hog machine I would give it zero star if that was possible They charge interest daily and you will never know how much goes to principle First they start you off with 4 months 50 payments to make sure you and the contractor don t have issues but what they are not saying is interest being charged daily for the original amount You re required to make your monthly Minium payment for two years and that goes to interest only nothing goes toward the principle Customer service is nonexistent because of long wait times and the web site is a serious joke To avoid stress never consider this BANK or PLEASE get financed by other institution UGH

Not transparent about interest rate at all

The contractor did not explain to me correctly how the interest rate would be charged It is a daily charge even with 12 months same as cash so if you missed it they still charge you and make you make the interest balance first There is nothing on your statement on paper or online that shows the interest charge amount This is borderline illegal and morally wrong

No Customer Service

Took over 4 days to speak to customer service Website difficult to access and emails unreliable and not answering my questions They need to fix their website and hire more service people Why does mail go to s Dakota when the physical office is in Salt Lake City
