Smart meter farce
The website linked to the smart meters has always been poor but it has now descended into farce having lost my MPRN and being unable to accept a valid re-registration If this were a private business there would be uproar but since it is nationalised it seems to be populated with incompetents who don t give a damn and are just serving their time until they can draw their pensions Why do we pay taxes to suffer from these eejits

Rude people working there
Hi Those ESB people who worked for then online are rude As my online account saying I owed 79e which I pay So I got a bill aswell saying I owed 200e plus went online they saying pay arrears or something similar 125e government credit not in yet all the money they ripping off people each year is grazy In a other countrie they wouldn t get away with it I told them I pay by my online account before Headoffice didn t do anything last time someone working there trying to make a name for theirself Had trouble with them last bill aswell head office not doing there jobs They only thinking about money

Liers
Liers Been a full week without electricity as they supposed to reactivate it at my address I have been calling ESB the whole week and they claim they sent the engineer twice and that I wasn t at home and didn t answer the phone That is absolutely not true Now I am forced to wait after the weekend in the cold without power and heating in mid December while I have medical conditions I asked them what would happen to a vulnerable elderly or disabled person in a similar case They did not answer my question I am speechless Will contact the Ombudsman ASAP

If I could select 0 stars I would We had the misfortune of using an ESB EV charger in London Over night they took 3 more payments which took an age to get refunded The help desk staff were wrongly titled and had little knowledge or willingness to help In all we waited for 3 weeks for a refund of 90 Would never ever use again Steer clear Without a doubt the worst EV charging experience - stick to Tesla chargers or BP Pulse

With all the profits ESB make we can t have a service that doesn t collapse every time there is a storm A proper underground network is badly needed and like everything else ESB does it s reactive rather than proactive 6 times without power in the last year in Longford

I phoned ESB in relation to a call out charge received The call was made during the cold weather in November where power had cut off I was in panic as I have a new baby and things are really tough at the moment I couldn t possibly take any chance of no heating and electricity with a baby less than a month old No work was carried out and asked if possible that the charge could be waived ESB insisted on the charge 167 The lady who phoned me had spoke in a snappy passive aggressive tone and I felt very intimidated She made me feel that what I did was wrong and I m being punished by being charged ESB lack empathy and understanding The call was intended for ensuring my baby is warm Being charged is very cruel and mean

Power gone for over 2 days people
Power gone for over 2 days people around us fixed but ours isn t then the power that was fixed has gone off again and they fixed there s before fixing outs again non stop phonecalls for payments on bills but when it comes time to do there job they are terrible the storm wasn t even that bad bunch of chancers
