Excellent experience at Alghero

Car rental Alghero airport 23 May - 15 June 2023 I just read the negative reviews from Dino Olbia and Audbergur Verona about their unavailable rental car and that is unacceptable It smacks of an unprofessionally run company However my experience with the FeliRent Alghero airport office was very different First the office is located 200m outside the terminal building diagonally beyond the car park and across the road FeliRent doesn t have a presence in the terminal building The office may be difficult to find after dark It looks like the Alghero airport presence only recently a couple of months ago opened up I had booked mine via an intermediary DoYouItaly and that didn t prove to be a hindrance or a problem at pickup The registration process took some time half an hour or so Car was a Citroen fairly new and I had an excellent driving experience with it At drop-off I wanted FeliRent staff to inspect the car and give me confirmation of no damage full petrol etc And so it happened The security deposit of 500 reserved on my creditcard had been released back to me before I wrote this review So I had an excellent experience and will definitely consider using FeliRent again either directly or via an intermediary But I will keep an eye out for more negative reviews la Dino s and Audbergur s

I ve rented twice from Felirent once in Catania Sicilia 2021 and once in Bologna 2022 and was very much happy every time The second time i went straight to them without even looking at other companies Very good service very good english skills They explain everything as clear as possible i was a first time renter and didn t know how things work I had an external insurance and the guys in Catania made sure i had everything i needed for the claim of my money back The procesa went smooth thanks to all the info and documents they provided In the Bologna airport they come pick you up once you land and then drive you back to the airport in the car you are returning Finally i want to mention that i got a free upgrade in both cases to a bigger and newer car than the one that i booked Both cars were new and very clean easy to drive with all the options needed for a good vacation in Italy I highly recomment Felirent at least in these two cities I will definitely look for them whenever i need a car in Italy from now on
