AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Would be ZERO stars if possible Untrustworthy Toyota dealership Placed a 99 online deposit on Toyota CHR GR Sport on 05-06-24 I received an email the same day from Michelle joke of a salesperson saying that she would contact me on 06-06-2024 to progress the sale I also received an email on 05-06-24 from Fish Brothers congratulating me on my online purchase of the CHR I had done a Fish Brothers online part exchange value for my vehicle of 10555 which was less than I had hoped for but was prepared to accept I spoke to Michelle on 06-06-24 regarding the purchase and the condition of the purchased vehicle she went on to say that the part exchange valuation of my vehicle was 10000 I was gobsmacked and said that I had used Fish Brothers online part exchange valuation and the valuation was 10555 she said that she would have to speak to her manager she got back to me after speaking to her manager and that he said the real value of my part exchange vehicle was 9000 what a load of crap but they would honor 10000 not the 10555 that their own system came up with My 99 deposit remained on the vehicle Michelle and I agreed to reconvene the day after 07-06-24 and that she would ring me Needless to say the phone call never arrived therefore I prompted her by email about the phone call she eventually rang me to say that the CHR that I had agreed to purchase and placed my 99 deposit on and had receipt of purchase on had been SOLD I was absolutely gobsmacked and could not believe what I was hearing Michelle went on to say that she had emailed me earlier that morning regarding the CHR having been SOLD needless to say that this was a lie as there was not that email in my inbox I asked to speak to the manager who rang me a few minutes later The manager went on to say that the CHR had been sold 48 hours before I put my deposit on it I went on to say that I had not had an email that morning from Michelle he said you are calling us liars which I agreed with him and he put the phone down on me This is unbelievable behaviour from a Toyota main dealer and I would not recommend anyone to go anywhere near dealing with them Please read the rest of the reviews and AVOID AT ALL COSTS This is a completely accurate account of what went on Toyota Head Office informed

Sold the Car After Agreement and Told Me Not to Leave a Deposit Yet

My experience with Fish Brothers Toyota was extremely disappointing and frustrating I visited the dealership on Saturday with the intention of buying a Toyota Rav4 for 33 000 in cash I found the perfect car and requested a towbar installation by Wednesday though I mentioned it wasn t a big issue if it wasn t ready by then When I asked if they could give me a discount on the towbar the salesman offered a discount on the car instead which I accepted He promised to speak to his boss on Monday The salesman assured me they would get the car ready by Monday and the towbar by Tuesday though it wasn t 100 guaranteed I agreed to these terms However by Sunday the car had disappeared from AutoTrader which worried me I was told they likely took it off the listing because of my pending purchase On Monday morning I received a call informing me that someone had purchased the car online overnight I questioned how it could be sold overnight after the dealership had closed and why it was removed from AutoTrader during their opening hours but received no satisfactory answer It was clear they had sold the car completely ignoring our agreement 1 I was ready to buy the car on Saturday 2 I had the cash ready in my bank account 3 I was willing to pay a deposit but the salesman told me not to pay anything until Monday 4 I didn t need any discounts and had made it clear I was serious about the purchase Fish Brothers Toyota not only disappointed me but also tried to offer me another car with fewer features for more money This is a clear example of unfair business practices I do not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for reliable and honest service

Regarding Kia in general and the Swindon branch Less than happy or impressed with the experience we had there We need 2 things looking at under warranty They refused both All is good when you are wanting to buy a car but not when anything needs fixing One of the things we needed looking at is a potential safety issue they were not interested I ll never have another Kia again Thanks for the zero support Kia Swindon

Nissan Vehicle had total failure due to Ad-blue Sensor and required software update although under warranty - Still charged to rectify the problem We also explained to the garage another problem with Radar warnings showing which caused a steering concern collected the vehicle to be told that he couldn t remember this detail when the vehicle was dropped off and the garage was extremely busy hence the reason this work not done Silly me - That explains it I actually called the garage on Saturday 14th for an update and reminded them of this problem Garage had the vehicle for more than a week Won t go back and would not recommend Customer service poor

AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES NEVER USE THEM

The Fish Bros VW service department in Swindon is an absolute shambles We purchased a new van and new campervan from Fish Bros sales and whenever we have had a service recall work warranty work we have taken them to their service department But every time there is no care at all they don t give you any idea of how long things will take they have missed things off the recalls and off the services they never let you know what has been carried out It wasn t apparent at first but has been highlighted since visiting another VW registered garage who have flagged a number of issues with work carried out by Fish Bros Swindon As an example we dropped our campervan off on Wednesday a 38 mile round trip for them to put right a recall issue that they had bodged and no other VW garage will now touch Only to find on picking it up today another 38 mile round trip that they have carried out the exact same bodge job that they did before What an absolute waste of my time and money and my co-driver s time and money

Terrible service not trustworthy clear selling tactics

Terrible experience at Fish Bros with Anthony Bought Lexus NX online Incredibly inefficient buying process repeated selling tactics for additional services despite declining them refusal to provide proper documentation Incorrect invoices that need adjusting generally unwelcoming attitude No explanation of the process repeatedly asking for already provided information for registration details No assurance of the state of the car relying only on the brand reliability Delivered not to our address but a number of streets away driver insisted to be driven to a nearby station despite being told it was a 5 minute walk No handover of the vehicle still awaiting full documentation Anthony also begged us to give Lexus a 9 10 review no chance of that to avoid their business being investigated which is very clearly untrue We will be escalating this further They are very fortunate that the car has a good enough track record and the price is okay

They ll keep delaying until the staff quit then you start again

Since they opened the multi brand service centre customer service has gone through the floor The staff keep leaving and you end up in a holding pattern of processes until the next person leaves Called up to be told that I may just have to wait indefinitely as the issue has been ongoing for some time despite having an email to arrange for it to be booked in completed in November Avoid all Fish Brothers branches like the plague their service is non existent

Parts dept rudest person I have ever come across I made an enquiry about a replacement headlight and was given a price I emailed back and received nothing Phoned to be told the person I was dealing with was on annual leave I tried ringing today and spoke to someone who didn t introduce himself He said there person had only returned today to be fair I joked I m not fair He then said he didn t want to talk to me and put the phones down Richard Fish will be getting a letter of complaint

Bought a new Renault 3 years ago from

Bought a new Renault 3 years ago from Fish Bros Swindon and told if i had it serviced with them i would get free breakdown cover with the RAC I had the third service in November and asked the person on the service desk if i was still covered by the RAC breakdown The reply was YES your are That was fine until today i needed help and the RAC had no knowledge of my car I have been driving for 5 months with no cover I was told a lie by the service people Don t trust anyone from Fish Bros Get it in writing
