NON EXISTENT AFTERCARE AS SOON AS YOU LEAVE THE FORECOURT
completely non-existent after care purchased a car from here 3 months ago the car broke down day after purchase was told i have to get the car back to SR MOTOR GROUP myself and they cannot book it in for at least 2 weeks because there main mechanic manager is away was then told to use warranty but the faults are there when i got the car so no one will help how was this car released and how they did not prioritise this as a customer who has just bought a car think twice before purchasing from this company everytime i ring they have to speak to their boss no one can make a decision and the boss does not have a number or email avoid

Scammers Avoid
I have been scammed by this company Purchased a vehicle and straight away 1400 of repairs are needed and vehicle is unsafe to drive Initially advisors said they would get this sorted as id had it for a short period of time and it needs a lot done but this is now being refused as the director has made final decision that I am liable to pay Contacted multiple times with no response Have now filed with claims court as citizens advise have said the company are liable to fix pay for repairs or refund me Now without a car for 4 weeks as it s a big job Bosses aren t aware or simply do not care for the consumer rights act It s absolutely insane to me that companies get away with this A 5 000 purchase has turned into being without a car for over a month and having to pay an extra 1 400 for it to be safe to drive aswell as having to pay another 70 for court fee Missed health appointments loss of earnings a load of stress over the Christmas period This company is a disgrace Funny that all of the 5 reviews mention someone called Ben Seems legit Surely trading standards should be involved by now

Chances are that you will have purchased a faulty vehicle and there is zero after sales care Do not be veiled by the warranty on offer It is nor worth the paper it is written on If you are unfortunate enough to get a faulty vehicle good luck getting the same energy from Simon and Niaz as you did prior to making a payment

Please read all reviews and make an informed decision My experience calls not answered voice watsapp messages not responded to and when you do finally get to speak with someone you hear nothing but empty promises or are fobbed off 3 months later numerous attempts to get these issues with my vehicle rectified and I am still waiting for a repair that is covered under warranty In my opinion this dealership drag it out with the aim of warranty expiry and their customers just simply giving up

Beware of their inadequate AA warranty
Bought a car from the company in June 2024 and the car developed faults in Oct 2024 I made claims on the AA warranty which i now realise is a clever ploy by the company to deflect their responsibilities The AA warranty provided has covered less than 35 of what we are spending to get the car back on the road 1442 of 4192 The car should be under statutory warranty based on the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we expect to be fully reimbursed First attempt at communications with the branch manager met with a very unhelpful response He even tried to tell me that my statutory right is limited Their AA warranty covers only 1000 per claim and limits labour cost to 50 per hour There is hardly any new generation car that can be fixed for that amount if it develops a major fault The law is quite clear on our statutory rights and unfair terms We are looking forward to our day in court with them if they do not deal with this

We only lost 500 to SR Motor group in comparason with others we got off light After making a deposit on a car that needed some repairs before final purchase we were told by Simon that was best to make final payment in full before collecting the car as it saved a long time waiting for the bank transfer to clear knowing this to be untrue alarm bells started ringing I only wish I had not been in such a hurry checked their customer service history first However the policy we had with them stated The deposit less any expenses incurred is refundable in case of cancellation of this order So I called and emailed my cancellation twice before a minion got back to me Whose first response to my request was What Policy but then said The full amount of the depositis taken up with expenses it would need to be relisted on Auto Trader FOR 500 What a Nasty company Keep Well Clear

Read the reviews do not ignore red flags
How many red flags did I ignore The worst experience with this garage you have to question if the honest reviews are true I went to the garage with my wife to buy a car The end Finance was discussed but every option seemed to be too much trouble Got the finance sorted and wanted to leave a deposit of 5k on my card sorry we only take 500 max on cards No worries I will pay by bacs and the finance company has requested bill of sale Called the following day to ask why car was still advertised sorry we have financed to someone else Absolutely dumbstruck Ironically 7 days later the car is still available for anyone to reserve Could it be that it required 2 x tyres and a service and I said it needs to have quality tyres and the correct oil being a high end sports car there attitude changed once they realised I wouldn t be a push over and made every effort to not sell to me I asked for a call back 6 times but the manager clearly has no customer service skills or is it too scared to have a direct conversation Please stay away from this garage they give other traders a bad name

Awful people awful company Avoid
Awful people awful business Avoid getting ripped off like I and so many others have before I wish I had read the reviews here before buying from them I bought a Mazda 6 Estate that immediately started creaking horribly SR Motors could not have been less helpful Ignored my emails didn t answer my calls I once rang them three times in a row with no answer rang again with my number withheld and they picked up immediately There is always an excuse - manager is away waiting to hear back from somebody blah blah blah they strung it out as long as they could before saying it was for the warranty company to deal with Of course the warranty is utterly worthless because they won t cover a fault that the car is sold with I ve been left with a 2 and a half grand bill to fix the fault that the car had when I bought it and a huge number of regrets about trusting these horrible toerags

DODGED A BULLET
Having read these most horrendous reviews Page after Page of them going on and on All with the same message AVOID AVOID AVOID I have decided to do just that I had paid 500 deposit to Simon and the Finance was all in place I have told CarMoney to cancel my application I said get SR to send my money back James said I ll try I replied you won t try you ll get it back or I ll get it back Thanks to all the unfortunate customers who wrote these reviews I m sorry for your bad experiences but your reviews have saved me from the same fate This Dealership shouldn t be in business
