Received a phone with a thoroughly smashed screen in a tatty box I have had to pay for return and am expected to wait 6-10 days for an investigation of DPD to take place before I get reimbursed Customer service has been helpful but really

I just wanted to enquire about their phones

It all started two weeks ago when I initially inquired about their phones However I began receiving persistent phone calls and texts that felt like harassment Eventually I reluctantly agreed to purchase an iPhone 16 Pro Max because I felt pressured by their agents Unfortunately they continually made mistakes with my delivery leading to my bank account being suspended due to their unreliable services and broken promises This morning they relentlessly called me insisting that I go to my bank and pay for the delivery discharge despite my multiple requests to cancel the transaction They keep trying to shift the blame onto me claiming that the suspension of my bank account is my fault They are very arrogant and refuse to listen unless you agree with them

Like many on here I sent my phone of in good condition to then get an offer a third of what I got quoted originally My phone apparently had screen burn I never saw it which sounds like something very hard to prove and seems to be a default go to I was expecting maybe something taken off but not to be offered 1 3 with a ambiguous reason

Just had to cancel my order as got fed up with being given the run around for 4 days no one there seems to know what they are doing Will use Carphone warehouse or anyone else What a ridiculous way to run a company Update just got better deal from from carphone warehouse with same phone being delivered tomorrow by DPD with tracking number Fonehouse sort yourselves out

ID check charge

Got rejected for a phone which is fine but the 2 50 ID check which is said to come straight back when paying gets changed to 3-5 business days Most can ID check with a 0 charge now so why they need to take money at all I don t know

I wouldn t bother

I wouldn t bother they tell you that the provider has accepted you and then the next day you get told the order was cancelled due to security reasons during their quality control check Strange hope I get my deposit back

Dirty beaten up box sent

Really disappointed to open the postage box in perfect condition to find a filthy damaged and somehow sticky iPhone 15 box Clearly packaged knowingly and hoping that I wouldn t notice wouldn t bother to complain Why are there no quality controls when I ve clearly been sent a box that s been kicked about on the floor for a good while What s the point in sending it in this condition when it just causes more work and inconvenience Complaint sent but of course Not open on Sundays so lord knows how long this will take to sort Haven t even opened to see that state of the phone inside can t bear to touch it for long enough to look Edit Wow - reply on fb messenger has offered no apology for the box being disgusting and told me it s become dirty in the warehouse - clearly stored badly then Advised I ll have to call customer services if I want to do anything about it

Where do I start Always been a big fan but cannot believe the poor service Sent me a phone and as soon as I put it on charge it wouldnt charge and stated moisture detected Rang customer services and gave all details who told me to send back special delivery at my own cost for them to replace only to be told it was water damaged with no other signs of water damage other than the error msg They then sent it back out to my however been waiting 2 weeks and it s been lost in transit and mishandled due to them sending to the wrong address not once but twice royal mail confirmed the address is different to mine Still waiting and chasing updates I write a compliant and request it to be acknowledged which it wasn t until I had to send another follow up email Told a response would be 2 days and it s been a week and still waiting Just spoke to customer services who were really dismissive and challenging about it all stating well a phone just doesn t do that Can t believe how shocking the service has been from a brand I have always recommended to others Currently paying for a faulty phone that they have now lost in transit At this stage all im asking for is evidence of the report taken to determine water damage as I know this is rubbish and a new phone which is all I ever wanted

Sent refurbished phone when ordered new

Received a seemingly refurbished phone with void stickers pealed from edge of box when I ordered new Box was also dirty and sticky Customer Service lady was very pleasant but tried to justify the dirt and damage by saying it s the warehouse Was initially looking to simply exchange the phone but the warehouse comment was not a sufficient answer and gave me no confidence in their good handling practices or ethics Order cancelled and item returned as a result Will shop elsewhere and not use Fonehouse in the future

I haven t had the best experience at all

I haven t had the best experience at all When I took out my new phone and contract via Fonehouse I was told I had to triangulate my SIM in order to keep my current number which was not made clear at the time of purchase It isn t an easy process at all and the sales process was very opaque in this regards
