Poor experience all round

Poor experience all round The phone took 10 days to arrive without clear warning before checkout that there would be a delay and no updates regarding when the delay would be resolved This was also for an iPhone 14 one of the most popular phones in the world and hardly a niche product Very frustrating when you need a new phone imminently Once I received the iPhone the SIM card wouldn t register - it seemed that Fonehouse had not inputted my details properly so I could not register for MyVodafone using my name This added an extra day while Support was closed in order to resolve the issue Good value deals but ultimately it seems you get what you pay for in terms of experience

Paying full price for a refurbished handset

Upgraded my phone through Fonehouse in February last year The process was smooth and I received my handset quickly My phone started crashing however around November I took it to EE to get it fixed who notified me that the phone was refurbished so I m paying full price for a refurbished phone Rip off

Unfair last minute reduction

Sent samsung phone as offer was fair once they received the phone they disputed the condition and reduced the offer the marks were very minor and did not justify the large reduction in their offer Will not use again

28 or 16 per month

I took a contract out 16 per month was 28 before black Friday event When the phone came i got an email to say I will be billed 28 each month but I have to claim the difference back at 5 different stages throughout my contract Ridiculous Any way the phone arrived quickly but looking on fonehouse website now all the deals on the Samsung galaxy a53 5g are much much lower so my phone will be returned tomorrow

Stated Data allowance not delivered

2 Stars for competitive price and fast delivery However the 300GB data advertised was not delivered in my contract with the contract provider who are only giving 150GB a month Contact customer service is telephone only between hours of 9am and 6pm when most of us are in work and unable to call frustrating to say the least

Concerned they ve leaked my details

Took out a contract this morning after getting a deal on MoneySupermarket and had numerous calls from someone claiming to be from them telling me to ignore everything I ve signed and take a new offer When I told them to email me about it they asked for all my contact details again which rang many alarm bells

I did nit find any source in the web site for live chat or email for crosspondence even in holidays as well in other sites you can get contacted any time or chat any time for the resolution of your issues Please work on it for the betterments of your services Regards

Very very long wait

Sold my phone to them as they offered the best deal amongst other competators with same day payment in late january They cancelled the order the day they recieved the phone early februaury through tracked delivery then I waited over a month before I was offered less than half the quoted price by which I had completly forgotten about due to the questionably long wait In the end i accepted the offer as I had enough and cant be bothered wasting any more time Long story short Sell your phone privately and avoide these shark companys

Phone trade in - poor service

Traded in my phone and as with all they offered a ridiculously low price to begin with Looking at their report the phone had 100 battery with no faults but the light scratches that they state would make the condition good they revalued at poor After disputing this they offered more of course but still nowhere near what was quoted If I did not accept this offer they wanted 10 to return my phone This was not an obvious fee and essentially a hidden charge to blackmail into accepting the offer I ve not known any other company do this

Getting them to pay me the cashback has been next to impossible especially with them contacting me in regards to it I m more likely to go direct to the networks going forward or using another company that isn t Fonehouse very poor communication or lack of have sent countless emails and nothing In reply to your response they contacted me with this - Good afternoon Mr Forde I hope that you are well I am contacting you as we have tried to pay your cashback entitlement of 65 on your Three sim only deal that you purchased from us on 26th May 2024 I cannot see that the payment has been able to go through when we used the sort code and account number that we hold on file for yourself So that we can make sure that we pay this money to you successfully please can you contact us on 0333 900 11 33 and select line 2 to provide your payment details I gave the new details over the phone and via email and even now it s gone past your own deadline when I gave my new details on the 2nd of September I have sent countless emails and even now I m not better off
