Trustworthy but Some Problems

I use FromJapan frequently and I trust them but their new fee system is getting expensive They re charging a separate 300 yen fee for each item even if the items are ordered from the same seller or store They used to charge one fee even if you ordered multiple items as long as they were from the same seller Also they shouldn t have Fedex as an option for shipping when your items are textiles Fedex sent my package back to FJ and I had to pay over 100 return shipping FJ has had the items for two months and they still haven t given me an option to get them reshipped I don t know why it s taking so long and they just told me they re working on it

Good bidding system bad service

Good bidding system and the team at the warehouse do fantastic job packing and consolidating items Beware when you have any problems or questions their staff are unhelpful lazy and unprofessional Especially their staff Gwen - Worst customer service

Live Chat and Automated Buying Function Please

Not too sure if its due to the hike in users over the year but services has dropped drastically in terms of getting a quote purchasing an item outside of y auction or replies from the team Previously FJ is very efficient with its service mentioned above but it s taking longer than usual sometimes two days before they purchase an item for you and email reply timings are pretty standard at 1pm or 6pm JST The team should introduce live chats for immediate assistance and automated purchase module similar to y auction bidding system if possible That would definitely place FJ at the top

Real-time bidding system need to improvement

The real-time bidding system is a great feature It was possible to use this function to bid for products that have not been extended at the last moment But due to some network conditions I missed a lot of products Hope to improve in the future

This was my second order using your

This was my second order using your service I was very pleased with my 1st order Your customer service is excellent The packing on my first order was also excellent However on my second order the Baseball caps I ordered were compressed by the packing materials in such a way that they were bent in shipping I m used to restoring older hats but it was very disappointing to have to work on new hats that were so expensive That said I have placed a 3rd order because my first was so positive and I expect the problem with the second will not happen again

My first experience

Upon payment items kinda seems more expensive if I put multiples of them together to ship them due to other fees size dependent The amount of fees the international shipping is a large impediment plus the impending import fee If EMS were an option for Canada that would change things I d take FedEx over DHL any day of the week I believe buying medium sized items and small items together is key and that s how I received some of my goods as of 3 days ago Other than that the website s layout could use some work though It does however show some promise

Secure packaging

I preordered nct 127 s Elle Japan magazine and everything was running smoothly the site was very easy to use however shipping took months almost half a year at this point I ve chosen this shipping option many times before from different sites and it only took 3-6 weeks never as long as this item took not sure if it was the proxy s fault though I thought my items were lost but thankfully they did arrive and safely Packaging was very secure even though I was unhappy before I am very happy that my item has finally arrived

First time trying FromJapan

First time trying FromJapan and so far my experience has been good as it allows me to buy and participate in auctions for Japan products I like the consolidating service and 45 days free hold period is great Have yet to test on the shipping time and the customer service Will leave a review once I have experienced that Was rather shocked to find out the shipping and other fees costs almost 40 of what I paid for the products Gotta factor that in before I make my purchase next time if any

No answer from support for many days

No answer from support for many days suddenly my account is blocked Your FJ account has been blocked 2 items are in status waiting for seller response for a week I am getting a little worried if this purchases will ever be processed properly is there any other way of contact than mail I don t use FB or waibo Update All things sorted out Pretty time consuming Pkg found its way in the end

Good Service but Pricey

The service helps me get just what I need but the prices of the delivery feels a little steep All of my items have come in at the quality I expect and it allows me to get goods that I otherwise couldn t get but the price tag of shipping seems very high I d happily wait a little longer if they are going to do more bulk shipments but I don t know if that is an option
