The shoes were awesome however

The shoes were awesome however they did not come wide enough When I ordered I had ordered 1 black pair in size 14W and a discounded pair in size 6 reg I received 2 pair in size 14 w Will have to sadly returned both pairs Wish they came in triple wide they are nice made shoes that can be worn for all occasions and you can t beat the price

These shoes are ok but don t believe the hype They are cheaply made with a spongy insert You could buy the insert for ANY dress shoe There is nothing special about these shoes and they are mass produced quality

Good luck with your order

Gatsbyshoes caught my eye with their fun style at a discounted price I suspect their sale price is a gimmick I bought a pair each of their shoes and gel inserts to support a company that makes large shoe sizes The shoes took a little over a week to arrive with the shipping information indicating separate packages for the shoes and gel insoles So I was surprised that they both arrived in one plastic-wrapped cheap cardboard shoebox When the plastic was cut away and the shoebox opened the contents smelled strongly of VOCs not the smell of leather The shoes look as nice as or perhaps better than advertised Their comfort and fit is decent They are no match for my quality American and Italian shoes but they are okay for what they are neither shoes nor sneakers We ll see how they hold up Most telling about these shoes is the absence of any branding logo or imprint It is clear that Gatsbyshoes is on a shoestring budget Their phone answers with a brief recorded message of an email address Their email support representative has her hands full Their return policy is challenging enough to either discourage returns or force errors allowing them to refuse returns If you order from them I hope you find the fit and style of the shoes acceptable

Advertised to be orthotic but have

Advertised to be orthotic but have absolutely zero support at all I had to buy insoles to even be able to wear them They are good looking and seem to otherwise be well made The insoles are terrible though

The order confirmation came later than

The order confirmation came later than usual I had to contact them without having any confirmation number received after purchase I was a little nervous they would be able to find my order Other than that it was good

Low quality and slow shipping to boot

Shoes took very long to arrive like several weeks They forgot the inserts I had paid for made me work very hard with multiple calls to customer service and they finally shipped them out and they were not as nice as advertised The soles have since started separating from the upper after limited use Sadly I wanted these to be good but the customer service and quality is sub par

The shoes have nothing to do with leather all plastic Came in a bubble wrap and soft bag cheap and nasty really Mine fit ok but I think their life would be very short old story you get what you pay for I would guess these shoes would cost cents to manufacture

Shoes are great delivery was very slow

The shoes are excellent and better quality than I expected The only reason I gave it four stars was the delivery took several weeks much longer than I expected Overall I am very happy with the shoes

From 1 star to 4 stars and here s why

Edited I previously put up an angry review of Gatsby because I had waited for about a month and a half and my shoes hadn t arrived Because I hadn t ordered from them before I thought I d been scammed especially since customer services kept giving me what seemed to be cut and paste answers about the delay which didn t reassure me and in fact infuriated me more However the shoes did eventually arrive about 2 months from original order date and the actual shoes are fantastic Really really comfortable and stylish looking So i amend my review from 1 star to 4 stars and retract my original angry review A couple of things to note If you order from Gatsby your order MAY get delayed and held up in customs in China for aaaages try and be patient Customer services at Gatsby you can really help yourselves by giving more human explanations as to what s going on in order to reassure your customers that this can happen in some occasions The product is a 5 star product Customer services has some improvements to make so 4 stars overall

Shoes look great and are excellent order 1 2 size smaller

Shoes look great and are excellent quality Shipping and order communication was great The size was a bit large I had to add an insole to get them to fit A friend who ordered before me had the same issue with the size being about 1 2 size too big and having to add an insole as well The quality is excellent and seems like it will last a long time When I order again I will order a 1 2 size smaller
