Would definitely recommend

This course is absolutely worth the money After having started German with Laura a few months ago I can finally understand grammar changes which used to confuse me when trying to learn German and it has made learning German easier overall Laura is a great and enthusiastic teacher and supports you throughout the course The course provides you with the foundations you need to understand German I would recommend to anyone who wishes to learn German

German grammar demystified and fun

Much has been said about how difficult german grammar is and how there is no rhyme or reason to a lot of it Laura s courses very clearly and simply teach that there IS rhyme AND reason to german grammar Her courses are the ONLY courses I ve come across that have demystified german grammar I have made leaps and bounds in my understanding and comprehending german sentence structure cases etc since taking Laura s courses I can t wait for her next course to become available as the further along I go the more fun learning german becomes I can t recommend German with Laura high enough 6 stars

A worthwhile commitment to learning the language

After hitting a few of the shortcomings in a paid Duolingo subscription an on-line search led me to Laura s site Laura s free 1-hour sample will give you a good idea of her approach Before you pay she tells you learning German is hard She is not exaggerating however her approach is imo the best if your intent is to actually learn speak read and write the language properly not just hack your way through it Instead of diving in and learning words and guessing your way through use of language elements Laura teaches you the basic foundations or principles of the language so that you understand the why and the how to get to the proper phrasing German is a very complex language I am about halfway through the first paid course and I already know I will be taking the second After that I am going to make the investment in on-line instruction

Laura is an exceptional teacher

Laura is an exceptional teacher She explained the German fundamental Grammar principles like no other teacher before her To give such a compact but thorough overview of German grammar was exceptional I have tried language schools many times but they never worked for me because 80 of the time felt wasted No overview no rules struggling to have a conversation with other beginners My only concern during her course was that I worried about where to continue or find a similar minded teacher near me next Luckily before I finished my course her second beta course came out so I signed up for that immediately I m still worried a bit what happens after but I feel that with the two courses together I will have a pretty strong foundation to build on Thank you Laura

Brilliant Course Great Teaching Method

I spent a lot of time looking online for German lessons and came across German with Laura There was a free introductory lesson which I thought that I would look at and glad that I did Laura s enthusiasm and style of teaching is brilliant all of the things that I was struggling with suddenly became a whole lot easier I would highly recommend German with Laura to anyone who was either like myself starting out learning German or if you learnt before and want to get back into it With a free introductory lesson what have you got to lose

I m not intimidated by grammar anymore

I really can t recommend Laura s Grammar foundations course enough Although I m at B1 level I had no real idea about grammar and it completely overwhelmed and confused me I never really learned grammar in English and was extremely intimidated and frustrated by it in German and now it s so strange to say I actually feel that I get it Laura s course really is great and she teaches all of the grammar concepts from first principals - not assuming that you can or do remember anything from your high school grammar

Learning German with Laura

I have been learning German grammar with Laura for just over a year Laura is a good teacher and explains things well in an interesting way The quiz at the end of each session is helpful for you to find out what you need more practise with Workbooks provided to download and print are useful for revising what you have learnt before progressing on to the next lesson I would recommend this course

The No 1 German learning Course out there

German Foundation 1 was a true eye opener It becomes so intuitive as the course goes on I have learnt a lot that I have actually been able to remember I have read some external texts which I do not completely understand but can pick out different grammar rules in the text I have now progressed to GF2 which is continuing the high standard of German learning that is now expected from Laura and crew family Yesterday after having a break from learning for some time I had a slight problem with a particular grammar point but a quick revisit of the relevant section in GF1 and now I am back on track with German Foundations 2 I cannot recommend Laura s courses highly enough

I have been trying to learn German for years and tried so many different online language courses apps you name it I tried it and spent a small fortune in the process This has been the only course that has worked and made any sense at all I learnt more in a few lessons than I have in years using other learning methods So much effort has been put into the course and the course materials I would definitely recommend anyone who was stuck like me and about to give up to try this course
