I am extremely disappointed with their service
I am extremely disappointed with their service Their counselor responded me in their dedicated WhatsApp after 5 hours I asked a question about my order This is totally unacceptable Moreover they Laurastar conselor have asked me if I can pick up my order from DPD s office And that is for an order of EUR 1 100 This is outrageous No one has called me from DPD their contractor to deliver orders while the DPD decided per Laurastar conselor about a new delivery date but which date they could not respond That had to be consulted with me and confirmed with me so I am at home There is not point to attempt another delivery when there is no one at home Is that Swiss quality service This is joke and I am extremely disappointed

Very disappointed in the Laurastar
Very disappointed in the Laurastar Very disappointed in the Laurastar iron expensive and over 400 lasted only 4 years and got a fault Was advised by the company it can be repaired for far less than a new one That was not true repair costs same as a new one Misleading information expensive product with a very short lifespan have had cheaper irons last longer Avoid at all costsDate of experience October 09 2023

I will never use Laurastar again
I went to the Laurastar repair shop to clean the iron plate and to replace the steam button the iron was mechanically fine and they were quoted a repair fee of 360AUD or you could pay 600AUD for a new one I didn t accept it so I took it home After when I used the iron the paint on the right side came off and stained my clothes I took it back to tell them and they said it was a problem with the iron The iron s steam pressure is also not as strong as before In theory I don t think that would ve been possible when we ve had no issues with it prior People should just be honest I will never use Laurastar again

Unreliable and expensive Laurastar Smart system
My wife purchased a Laurastar system in 4 21 We are returning it for repairs for the 4th time today This is totally unacceptable My wife was told that after the second repair we would get a new system We got our original system back thoroughly repaired It worked for a year Now we have to return it at our expense for additional repairs that we were informed we are responsible for Totally unacceptable I requested to hear back from Laurastar senior management with a plan to provide us with a Laurastar system that will work reliably Their track record is very poor Service order is 50201534 for this 4th repair in less than three years

Think of your worst customer service experience and then triple it - even worse than Envi
When Laurastar products work they are brilliant When they stop they are an expensive mistake Uplift Plus This is a brilliant steam generator iron which suddenly stopped switching on after only 2 5 years Changing the fuse did not seem to alter the problem For an almost 400 iron which is used once per week this is really dreadful quality especially when I previously had a 100 steam generator iron which lasted me almost 10 years I contacted Laurastar and since the iron was still under warranty it was sent to a UK based company for repair It has now been returned and works again but for how long I do not know Iggi a lovely little portable steam iron when it worked However the cap suddenly seized and would no longer open a little after a year of ownership meaning it cannot be filled with water and used This was not a product that I used regularly and which was stored in the carry case that it came with This cost me almost 200 plus the cost of compatible accessories Looking at these reviews the cap suddenly seizing appears to be a common problem So much so that it looks to be a design fault When I contacted Laurastar they told me to try WD40 to loosen the cap This did not work Initially they told me that it was no longer under warranty so could not be repaired However as my Uplift Plus then stopped working a couple of months later the quality and longevity of their products became the main point of contention Laurastar agreed to repair the Iggi however the UK based repair company cannot fix it so it would need to be sent to Hungary Laurastar offered this at the end of January and I happily agreed because the greatest appeal of these products was that they could be repaired Having notified them initially of this issue in September 2023 five months later by 20 02 2024 I am still in the same position Whilst they sent a box for the Iggi to be packed into for collection two weeks ago for some unbeknowst reason they are stalling on initiating a collection with TNT their approved courier I asked whether I could drop it off somewhere No I asked for a return label to be sent I was told that logistics would email me a label yesterday afternoon Surprise surprise it was not sent Emails go unanswered I called again this morning asking where the label was - another email would be sent to logistics as the customer service representative could not do it himself Even the customer services rep at Amazon can do this so I find this surprising It takes minutes to organise a return shipping label for a courier so I am at a loss as to why it has taken a month to organise These are my last Laurastar purchases and I will be avoiding this company in the future The customer service aftercare is horrendous and more frustrating than dealing with Envi or eBay At least you know what you re in for with these companies but with Laurastar being sold on the premise of quality and longevity the customer service afercare is the most shocking and disappointing aspect of this company Quality and longeivity both merely marketing bumf I do not believe that my Iggi will ever be collected for repair but I will keep on at them daily Update Following this review I received a courier label for collection tomorrow and was delighted However that delight was short lived when I discovered it was not actually for me but for a customer 100 miles away My concern now is with Laurastar s compliance with data protection laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates

Extortionate servicing
We have a Laurastar S4 and having had it serviced for a number of years Laurastar have jacked up the service price from just over 100 to 600 Half the cost of a new system and all I wanted was a service Definitely won t replace the sytem with another Laurastar

Do Not Waste Your Money
For a product costing over 1 200 I had expected more We spend 40 of the year at another address so our 08 20 machine has probably had barely 2 years use We send shirts and bedding out to an ironing service so it doesn t even work that hard Yet it has failed The service agents responded quickly told us the iron had to go to tge service centre - flat charge for whatever needs fixing of 259 This is a very high cost of ownership So high in fact that I can t see the value in persevering with this product as it just isn t that good that on top of the high purchase cost you have to pay the equivalent of 65 per year in service costs That s the price of a Which magazine best but steam iron Laurastar clearly just not worth the high outlay Don t buy

Good evening
Good evening I am writing this regarding my newly purchased system So please take this seriously as it is very urgent I have made my purchase in the start of this month Unfortunately I have received my new system which was used and was leaking in my carpet which caused me to have it professionally cleaned I have contacted you immediately and informed you and it unfortunately nothing was taking seriously and all I have been hearing is misleading information I was told that it will be replaced exchanged but it needs to be collected from my house first and once you receive my one you will exchange This is my second iron system from your company but I never had to deal with you in person For such big company I would expect a little more professional services but all I have received so far is very much poor and disappointing customer service
